"Mr C is the best"
From the time we walked in the hotel and were greeted with Bellinis I was sold. The decor was awsome. Roomservice was delicious. This is my new Los Angeles hotel.

"Fantastic, perfect hotel."
Mr C. is a fabulous hotel and the staff provides a phenomenal experience. Everything is just better at Mr C, including a check in at the bar with complementary drinks while the staff brings you the paperwork and keys to your room. We returned to our room multiple times to find chocolate truffles, discounts at the spa, and other very nice complimentary things. It is a five minute walk to Rodeo drive, and a great location. I know there are so many great hotels in LA, but I will have a tough time going anywhere else after my experience at Mr C. I give it a score off 100, perfect across the board.

"Not a 5 Star Facility"
We were very excited to try Mr. C's. We had scheduled just a one night stay in order to have a nice weekend without having to worry about driving home. We arrived at the hotel a few minutes before 3PM, which is check in time. Check in started great, as we were served complementary champagne. Once the process was complete, we were let known that our room wasn't ready, but should be in no more than 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, our rep was no where in sight. I went to the front desk, which is hidden behind a bar, and asked the status. He stated that they were just finishing. No problem. However, it was another 30 minutes before we were shown to our room. This whole time other guests were being shown to their room. At no point did anyone come over to us and offer any water or see if we needed anything while we waited. A 5 star hotel should go above and beyond in these situations. When we finally got our keys, we discovered that our room was on the first floor and had a view of the super market across the street. It felt like they kept us waiting as we had an Expedia booked room, and wanted to give us a lesser desirable room. Also, there is no coffee in the rooms. I thought this was a basic amenity now a days? We didn't complain on the view, but mentioned the delay in check in while we were checking out. All they would offer us was some free coffee, or pastry. Between check in, the view and lack of basic amenities, this was a very disappointing hotel.

"Great for romance"
If you are on a honeymoon this hotel is for you. For family the room is small. I travel with my husband and daughter. She slept on a lounger which was initially placed at the balcony. They had a sofa in the room but more for display. Bathroom was small. Had a cold draft whenever I bathe. Room is romantically decorated so more for honeymooners. Great city view. Great personalised service by kai from reception and kris from concierge.

"Not for business."
I stayed 2 nights for a business trip. The staff was overly helpful and super friendly. But this is not really a business hotel, more of a luxury hotel. People wait on you hand and foot. But, there is no coffee in the room, you have to have someone deliver ice if you want it as there are no ice machines either. My room was on the street side with lots of noise and light streaming into the room, despite the heavy curtains. The bed was comfortable, though.

"Great College Visit"
Stayed for 1 night, wish it were more. Mark the bartender in the lounge was a great host. Restaurant was great. Wish we would have known about the car service to go shopping. Only issue was my room faced Pico Blvd and was a bit noisy.

"Very NOISY hotel close to street"
if you prefer a quiet sleep at night please stay away from this hotel. The room I have have a big sliding door that allow you to walk out to a small deck and facing street. However, the insulation use there is very cheap. You can feel air blowing through the gap of the sliding door even when closed and locked. At night, it is terrible, the traffic noise will make you wake up all night if you are very sensitive to noise. And If you are very sensitive to light, then also stay away from this hotel. no matter how tight you bring the curtain close together, there is always a gap exposed on either side and your room will eventually fill in with light by 6-7 am (depending on the time of sun rise) Another issue i had was no hot water!! The water was cold on one day and just warm on the next day. Never Hot!. On first day, the front desk told me they have engineer working on it. The next day, they told me it is due to the large occupancy, and tell me to wait for 5-10 min and let the water run until its right. I guess the only reason it is rated 5 stars is because it is a clean, expensive, new, fashion style hotel and close to beverly hill. If that is the only things you are looking for, then go ahead

"Luxury"

"Great staff, good location"
I had never heard of the hotel before we stayed there. It turned out to be a great weekend. I can't say enough about the staff. The concierge reserved a Hollywood tour for us that picked us up at the hotel. He also reserved seats for a Clippers game. When I picked up the tickets, he didn't even tell me that they had been upgraded to premier seats (no extra charge). He really made our weekend one to remember. It is close to Rodeo Drive, the Staples center, and LACMA. I would definitely stay there again.

"Excellent hotel with incredible service"
The staff was extremely nice and accommodating all around from the valet to bar tenders to the front desk. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable hotel experience. We knew the room would be wonderful from the pictures, but even that exceeding expectations.

"Best staff and service in LA of any luxury hotel."
From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the excellent valet and bell staff, to the excellent bar tenders, to the fantastic concierge service the staff here is amazing. The hotel itself is exquisite with fantastic rooms with balconies to luxury everywhere you look! Highly highly highly recommended.

"A Hollywood Haven!"
Fabulous central Beverly Hills location with boutique furnishings, relaxed vibe and European standards. Wonderfully helpful staff. Restaurant superb and great and exlusive poll area. This hotel is not corporate, cold or bland and has a special energy that you'll love. Wouldn't stay anywhere else now!

"Great location"
Room was not ready as promised when we arrived at 3pm. Had we known we could have spent our time differently than waiting for 2 hours in the lobby. The staff was courteous and offered a couple of Bellini's while waiting. Still, kind of disappointing that we had to wait 2 hours as our stay in LA was just for the weekend, rather a short time to waste it with that wait.

"No hot water?"
We have stayed at budget hotels and we have stayed at high-end hotels, but have never had the experience of no hot water for a shower at either end of this spectrum. We were up early for an event and discovered at 7:30am there was no hot water for a shower. Not a great way to start the day! When we mentioned it at check-out, we received a lukewarm apology. Won't be back!

"Great Hotel except for room service"
We love staying here. The atmosphere and rooms are on par with the best of Beverly Hills. This past visit we had the unfortunate experience of ordering late night room service. Simply put, it was an embarrassment. A higher quality product us typically delivered by a mid rate Sheraton or Marriott. The hotel would be better served by not even offering it as a late night option rather than not put their best foot forward and mar an otherwise positive experience.

"Wow"
This is a truly special hotel. From the bentlys and Ferraris parked outside to the decadent glass pool table in the lobby mr C is not just a hotel it's an experience. For what we paid this was value for money. The staff are so attentive it's almost embarrassing they all appear so genuinly happy to help which I think they are. Minor irritant is the fridge which is stocked full of drinks but you have to pay the hotel prices no room for your own goodies but it's that sort of hotel where paying your mini bar bill is incidental to the experience. Loved it and cannot recommend more highly

"Nice hotel"
Hotel is very nice. Room was good and clean. However it was impossible to sleep late because "turn down" curtains let the sun into the room. I was up at 7 am because of this problem. The big disappointment - pool was out of order and closed. Concirege arranged for us car to L'Hermitage hotel and pool access - this was very nice but I'd rather have the pool in the hotel I booked. I wonder why Expedia didn't inform me about this problem before my arrival to Mr. C.

"Best Beds ever!"
Best beds ever! So comfortable. Stay on the Bev Hills side if you want to sit on your balcony as the smog smell on the Pico side is intense, but it is the sunny-side. Breakfast was great and you can sit outside near the pool if you wish. Its a 15 mins walk from Canon St restaurants (Mastro, Spago etc). The car service is good and the vehicle is a BMW 7 series, but you give yourselves at least a half hour lead time as its not always available. Staff is friendly and vey efficient. Overall very good. If you are new to LA be aware that everything is far away from everything …don't plan on walking, rent cheap car.

"What a gem!!"
I hadn't known about this hotel until I saw it on Hotels.com and decided to stay here at half the price of The Beverly Wilshire or The Peninsula. The staff is most professional yet friendly, the Italian contemporary decor is just beautiful and comprised of the highest quality pieces (most delicious red leather in my rooms!), and the restaurant is fabulous with the most delicate table linens and a very amenable chef who graciously prepared a special order risotto. My one complaint was my fault - I locked myself out of my room on the balcony! I departed very reluctantly!!! I look forward to returning and staying for no reason other than to enjoy the ambience!

"Great Neighborhood, Beautiful Hotel"
The hotel has clean modern Italian decor. Service is good, and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Clean rooms, great patios in each room facing the hill. Not a lot to do in the hotel, but there's a pool.

"Good hotel for a quick trip to LA"
We were served their famous Bellini at our arrival which was nice. The room was beautiful with a nice view. Small hotel however. Room serving was nice but it took a long time to be served. Staff at the pool were incredible. Overall, very good hotel for the price.

"Awesome Hotel, Great Staff, Very High Touch"
A great stay. Construction noise (per the demolition work on the adjacent parcel) was very much a distraction and quite annoying (and made for a fairly unpleasant breakfast on the patio.The Bellini at the looby bar upon arrival is a nice touch. However, post a cross country flight, I'd much rather be expeditiously ushered up to my room and have a Bellini delivered to me. All in, impeccable service, an elegantly simple lobby, great poolside rum punch...and construction noise that's a bit of a buzz kill.

It's been good... when we come to LA We like the Mr C But not anymore... We stayed a night ...only this is it We are staying at the four Seasons hotel now... I won't go back to Mr C anymore

"Upscale! Very Friendly Staff!"
If you want the luxury and the life, Go to Mr. C's. It is in Beverly Hills, quite impressively stationed. We were met at the door with a complimentary Bellini and Virgins drinks for the kids. We received a complimentary upgrade to an 11th floor wraparound suite which gave a beautiful view of the city. Slept on the Lanai because it was so pleasant. The room has great books, tables, functional chairs, reading, a telescope and more. When I got my luggage up to my room, I realized I had lost my luggage key. They were able to assist with no problem.

Mr C is a gorgeously decorated, well situated, cool hotel, close to wonderful shopping. We were recommended it by some fellow Australians and it was everything we had hoped it would be.

"Exemplary service"
Mr. C was a stellar hotel my only issue is the fact that the pool area seems to be rented out for private parties and was either closed or had to depart at an early hour. I found the use of the pool to be unavailable much of my three days.
