Really a great place to stay. We got a small suite with a kitchen which was quite convenient when vacationing in Kauai. Had a fridge/dishwasher/washer/dryer so we could fly home with clean and dry clothes (no stinky wet bathing suit in a plastic bag). 2 decent restaurants on site, and many food options near by in old Koloa town. Bed was OK, shower was great and the toiletries were of good quality. 2 pools on site, right on the beach which is good for swimming. Very happy with our stay.
It was fantastic. The hotel staff was very accomodating when mentioned about our room preference and switched our room on our 2nd day of 6 night stay. Loved the hotel service, staff, cleanliness, and the beautiful beach. Can't wait to return.
Perfectly adequate but very expensive for the quality. The balcony chairs were surprisingly spartan and uncomfortable, it wasnât pleasant to sit outside.
We arrived at around 8pm and it took a long time to park and find the room. Once we settled in after a long day of traveling we checked around for ice. The property is so sprawling that it took an effort to find ice. Then, there were literally 3 ice cubes. I had an injured foot so I called the front desk and they were kind enough to send a person with a bag of ice and a couple bottles of cold water. There was no food available AT ALL. No room service or open restaurants on a Thursday evening after 9pm. They should have that posted somewhere. I was told that we are here to see magical Hawaii and not to have service for food at night. Rude. The people on the phone were jerks. The people we interacted with in person were lovely. Bring snacks if you arrive in the evening. They will only tell you there is a store 5 minutes away by car.
The Villas were idea for the two of us. A small kitchen area with microwave, full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher and washer and dryer was great for us to make breakfast and coffee. Walls were a little thin but not too bad. We werenât sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. No pushy timeshare sales either so thatâs a major plus in Hawaii. Beach area was great. Worth it to pony up $100 for the umbrella/cabana on the beach. Also, they have a luau there so if you are looking for that, itâs one of the best weâve been to (and weâve been to about 10 or 12).
We absolutely loved our stay at the Sheridan. The staff was wonderful and engaging and always there to answer questions and give recommendations! The amenities were great. We had access to all the pools and beach. Just the perfect getaway.
