I have one criticism, note paper should be available in every room. I was on the phone trying to capture the content of the call and could find absolutely nothing in the room to write on! Toilet paper should not be a customers only option! I had extraordinary assistance from one of your agents & I was very appreciative!
The room was in poor condition, cabinets and furniture cracked. The end of the mattress was dented. There were black spots all over the top of the bed (possible bed bugs) there was a nasty blood red stain on the wall. And it’s situated so close to M53 that it is noisy. The front desk clerk was not only wearing her mask on her chin but she was also rude. Asked for a refund the hotel refused claiming we spent “too much time in the room” wasn’t even close to an hour but they are lying to protect themselves. I have receipts to disprove their claims. I wasn’t even offered an alternative room the response I got when I asked for another room was “you have to speak to my manager” wasted almost $100 at this place and ended up booking elsewhere. I will never go here again and I will be sure to spread the word about the horrible experience since they clearly couldn’t care less about customer service. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere.
Everything was clean and comfortable, the staff was kind and attentive. Even though we were only there for a night I would definitely recommend!
This was not my first visit to this property. What was disappointing is as I was checking in, I was informed that there was no longer daily cleaning, and there was no breakfast. This seems like something that could have been added to the La Quinta webpage, but no, they wait until you are checking in to tell you. Granted, the breakfast is not all that great, but since all the restaurants are closed for COVID, I was expecting that I would have been able to grab a bite in the morning. I did not see a reduction in the price for the lack of service or amenities.
Front desk staff wearing masks under chin. Toilet plugged. Dicey looking shower curtain. Smokers just outside of front of building. Patrons not wearing masks at all. Fighting over mask wearing in elevator.
The stay was comfortable. I just didn’t like the fact someone complained about our loud talking, when it was New Years Eve. We were celebrating the New Year. I thought that was what most people there were doing, and we weren’t the only ones celebrating. So why would they knock on my door. I could here several people celebrating the New Year.
Everything seemed very clean and staff were very compliant with mall and distancing rules.
