Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Centre Canal District

Hôtel très bien situé, au calme. Petit déjeuner buffet très copieux. En revanche la propreté de la chambre n’est pas du niveau d’un 4 étoiles

Efficient and welcoming reception staff for this standard Mercure hotel. Excellent location, we were able to do everything we wanted to do on foot (5 minutes from the Rijksmuseum, 15 minutes to the centre of town). The room was pretty standard in size and equipment; the only criticism we had is with regard to the cleanliness of the bathroom floor, which didn't look as if it had been cleaned since the previous occupant (hairs and dust on the floor...). Nice, quiet location though, and good (clean), comfortable bedding. All in all, we would recommend this hotel (but some attention should be made to its' cleanliness...)

The rooms online all advertised big paintings on the wall that reminded me of the masterpieces in the Rijksmuseum down the street. Ours was basic and bare and small. It was a bit of a walk to get to major attractions but we ended up liking that in the end. The bar around the corner was a great place to have a chat with locals.

Very welcoming and professional staff. The Hotel is in a neighbourhood which is nice and very close to the Museums and Trams. Walkable to the City centre as well. The Hotel is quiet, bathroom is small but very manageable and the bedding comfortable. The breakfast was great and there is a lovely little bar area downstairs where light snacks/meals are available. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future. Good wifi
