Tru by Hilton Ocean City Bayside

Front desk Ms. Lisa greeted us with kindness and made sure we felt welcome, giving us a room on the pool floor for my child which was perfect. We had a beautiful view of the ocean which was unexpected! The room was sparkling clean and unlike any hotel I’ve ever been in. When we needed towels, they brought up a new bag of them no-contact to the door. The bathroom was a-mazing and even my kid was excited to take a shower and use their dispensers. We slept like babies in their bed, it was so comfy and quiet there. The free breakfast was great. Tip-If you’re a large family I’d recommend bringing a cooler because the fridge is very small. The pool was great but gets crowded so depending on the kids there (we had to deal with not so well mannered ones) you may need to choose odd pool hours to get your pool time. But they supply and have plenty of pool towels.

The staff was friendly and attentive to myself and my family. Dog friendly was a plus! Only thing is it would be nice to have a dog area assigned for them to use. Top notch! Would stay here again. Sunsets are amazing!

This was a wonderful find, good location, very comfortable and friendly, very helpful staff; excellent recasting of breakfast with tasty products. Big downside to me (since it was a business trip) was very poor Internet. inconsistent and weak at best. Also, the hotel permits dogs. I love that -- and this is NOT the hotel's fault -- but owners left a door int he room and the poor thing was scared and cried.

The hotel was new and spotless. However I didn't realize when I booked that they allow dogs in all rooms. I am allergic to dogs so I will not stay here again. They do not have designated rooms for dogs so if you have allergies I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I’d guess with March occupancy at<50%, They should place dogs away from other rooms. Unplug the refrigerator if you want to sleep and try to ignore the dog whine or barks, the walls are thin and rooms are only 12’ wide. Clean and pretty hotel otherwise.

Heat/air conditioning was the loudest I’ve ever heard in a hotel. Sounded like a jet engine starting. Did not lend well for a restful nights sleep. Between the small refrigerator making a racket, the heat/air noise, a noise that we couldn’t determine the source of (sounded like someone knocking on the door all through the night) and a tv that would just turn itself off every so often, it was not a room we were going to stay in another night so we checked out after the one night. Its a newer hotel so we were surprised. The location was great, easy access, price was low compared to others and the staff was great.

The hotel was very clean, the only thing I thought could have been different is a mirror in the room itself and maybe a better breakfast it was kinda weird choices.
