Hilton San Antonio Hill Country

This was booked for my daughter's wedding night. I stopped by the hotel on Thursday to pre-pau for everything, even filling out all the paperwork to cover all the incidentals. I ordered room service to arrive at 6:30 with champagne and strawberries. When my checked in on Friday, they asked for a credit card, even though I had left one the day before. The champagne and strawberries did not arrive until 9:30, and the champagne was warm. When they checked out the following morning, the bill was charged to her credit card, not the one that had mde sure was on file to cover it. To say that i am disappointed is an understatement. This was supposed to be a romantic night with all the expenses paid for by me.

I arrived at the hotel and the service was nice - however I got to my room and realized I did not have a courtyard view. I thought maybe I was wrong and didn't book the right room so I decided to wait until later to check. I did check and asked in the morning and they said oh you were upgraded to a suite. Well no one asked if that was okay - it's not what I wanted and more importantly no one informed me and even apologized for not providing what I paid for. I am a person that likes views - that is why I picked the room with a view. I went out to do some sightseeing and upon my return the key did not work. There was a very nice gentleman who helped (after waiting in line for a long time at the front desk). Even the key in the room did not work...so I didn't get the right room, my keys were disabled, and then when we get to get coffee it was empty and we mentioned it and got no response. Every hotel I have been to has coffee available, we had to go to starbucks to get coffee because we were invisible. I should state however, the hotel is vey nice, great beds, beautiful area, and the restaurant had good food.

The room and quality was top notch. My girlfriend and myself enjoyed a night out in downtown and then enjoyed a very nice and quiet rest.

I booked a king size room and I got a double queen. When I asked to be moved to a king size room the rep sent us to a king suite . Got to the second room and there was a queen sized bed. Too tired to carry all our things and new born to another room so I didn’t call again. We needed a big bed but just stayed with the queen. Not sure why it was so hard in the first place? Also the buffet breakfast had cold food.
