Sugar Bay Club Suites & Hotel

The resort is under a lot of construction and by the looks of the rooms that are finished, they are beautiful. The older rooms are indeed a bit 'tired', but clean. Both pool areas are lovely and the landscape is well kept. Location is great. Can get to everything you need on foot. My husband was conducting business and the Wi-Fi was fine...even with Skype!

This hotel is very run down and out dated. The room, however, was as clean as could be expected and the AC worked very well.

I have stayed at the hotel before and was delighted this time to be in a newly renovated room - everything was very fresh. Other units and the cottages are under renovation. The pool is perfect - new tiles inside and out and super clean water. Poolside one hears the crashing Atlantic waves and there is beach access. Very responsive staff - eg I requested extra pillows and an iron. Received immediately. Very pleasant and helpful front desk. The gardens and plantings are beautifully maintained. Yes, there is work going on but nothing that we could hear. Free internet worked v well. Going back in January.

The customer service was good, the room was adequate, clean and comfortable. The location is prime for food, entertainment and proximity to airport, and town. The property needs to be updated before it goes any further downhill but I would stay there again and recommend to anyone needing an inexpensive hotel option.
