bed was very squeaky, music from next door restaurant loud.$$$ too price for weekend stay.
One day in this tourist town. Hotel was ok but not great. A little dated and needs some updates.
We were told by Donna that we could check in at 2. She allowed us to check in and when we got to the room, it had not been cleaned. We also had a problem with our tub. Cold water came up from the bottom when you turned on the jets. Donna and the other staff were very nice ans apologetic about everything, however, the manager of the hotel acts as if he/she doesn't care if customers are happy. They still haven't gotten back to me. The location of the hotel was great.
Staff was excellent, extremely guest friendly. Special thank you to Karen, during breakfast she was very interactive with the guests. Hotel lobby and room were impeccably clean...big thanks to housekeeping and cleaning staff. Location next to a large restarant with. Ì am presuming, a pub was noisy. Even though the beds were very comfortable, I was awakened several times in the night with loud people, in rooms and outside. Our upstairs neighbors I believe were holding some sort of marathon , as stomping footsteps were continuous throughout the night. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel. Ì would stay again, however on the even numbered side of the building.
Wow! How do I start? NEVER in my life did I think I would stay in a place like this. Worse of all, I brought my 4 month old baby and my 12 year old daughter here. The room is just plain GROSS. My husband and I were disgusted even about using that extremely disgusting bathroom. The carpet was old and smelly. The bathroom sink was clogged and old. As soon as we got there, I used the bathroom. Thank God I only did number one because the toilet was also clogged. When reported, the front desk person offered a plunger! We were changed rooms, to one as bad as the first one. This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. DO NOT stay here. This is worse than a cheap motel. Those sheets were dirty and smelly. Just gross overall. I was glad to leave that place early in the morning.
