Good value, practical but not fancy.
Really close to the airport with shuttle (but not before 7am). Spacious rooms. You will hear the planes overhead and the outside lights do not turn off.
I paid for the stay and I ever made it past the lobby. The gentleman running the desk was very rude and unprofessional. Their credit card readers wouldnât work, he accused me of using bad cards. I tried both my work credit card and my personal debit card and he told me I had to find another form of payment for the incidentals. I told him I had no other options. He said he couldnât help me in anyway. I left. Went to another hotel down the road and my cards worked fine. Had to pay for a hotel twice.
My room smelled like it had been sprayed down with Zepp and it had a scent of mold or mildew as well. The bathroom had no toilet paper in it and the AC was loud and dirty and the filter looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The pillows were barely more than just a cover. The bed itself was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs inside.
I guess if you are there for a couple of hours to get some rest before a flight it would be okay. It seems as though this hotel provides extended stays so there were families sitting at their doors. A lot of foot traffic all times of the day and especially at night. Bugs were spotted in one of our group members room. It was not a safe area and rooms are not comfortable at all.
I reserved a room at the Red Roof Inn for a friends wedding. I received a confirmation email with the booking but when I arrived at the hotel they didnt have any information about my stay and I needed to book my room the day of my arrival. It ended up costing me more than the original price. I will never use Hotels.com again because I cant trust them to get the job done.
