Generally we had a lovely stay at Sundance. Check in was great, Nazan (I think that was her name) was lovely, and always went out of her way to help us. The WiFi initially didnât connect and she reset the system. She bought us water everyday and clean towels when we needed them.
The breakfast was served on the table as opposed to a buffet as we visited at the end of May (the season hadnât started yet?). It was a lovely selection of Turkish cheese, breads, jams and eggs. We were there for 4 days - i wish there could have been a bit of variety with the breakfast but it was good nonetheless.
There are just a few things that I want to mention. I found a small piece of glass on the floor (see picture). When I showed the lady on reception, she took the glass from me and put it in the bin - she wasnât shocked and didnât offer an apology. I thought this was strange. I have 2 small children and either one of them could have crawled/stood on the glass. Cleaning of the rooms happens every 2 days - the cleaners didnât come on day 2 and we were told they just forgot (again strange as the hotel only had 4 other guests at the time). It was a shame that the spa and indoor pool werenât open, there was a storm while weâre at the hotel and entertaining 2 children in a hotel room when we could have been using the indoor pool (as itâs advertised). The blinds do not keep the light out fyi. Also we paid for a pool view and didnât get that, even though the hotel was not full.
