Good localization Excellent service Only 9 room
I've stayed here 2 times and i love it. Service is great, food is delicious and the room is spotless and neat.
The staff went above and beyond. It was a clean, comfortable and quiet hotel with a wonderful breakfast and perfect location. Really enjoyed the hotel and highly recommend.
The location of this hotel was great and close walking distance to the tourist spots in the walled city and a short 15 min walk to Gestemani. Great staff, restaurant and ambiance. There is an open courtyard in the middle of the property where the restaurant is located and open to the public for dinner. They play live music every evening which is lovely. Although all of the hotel rooms surround this courtyard and the music can get quiet loud and can be heard from inside the hotel rooms. We stayed in the one suite which faced the street and was a little farther from the courtyard music and we were able to hear both the nightly music and the noise from the street. We live in a city so are accustomed to noise but if you are not and need a quiet place to sleep this might not be for you. There is also a musty smell in the room that lingered on our clothing. We became nose blind to this but noticed the smell on our clothing and belongings once we got back home. The pool area was nice but small with only 3 lounge chairs. You need to be able to climb at least 1 set of stairs to reach any hotel room, no elevator. Overall we liked our stay, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the food was good.
Amazing hotel! Can be a bit noisy at night, so wouldn’t be ideal for a business stay. However, come as a vacation and you won’t regret it:)
Nice place friendly staff
This hotel was absolutely adorable and had friendly staff. It's charming and in a great location.
the location is great the restaurant extraordinary the rooms very charmy and nice. The air condition was not working properly
I was heavily disappointed by the experience at this hotel. We arrived and it was absolutely beautiful. Little did we expect it to be almost deceiving but shortly after we arrived we started having issues. That evening we started noticing the humidity. It smelled humid and it felt uncomfortable. Then I noticed the mold on the wall. In the morning we woke up coughing and with throat aches, the sheets and towels were moist and it smelled rancid of humidity. We asked to be moved and they told us there was no room. After spending a whole morning of our 3 day vacation fighting with this situation, they "found" another room which was a suite. We thought we were set and then we had these issues: -AC in the bathroom (which was outdoors) was broken -The blowdryer was disgusting to touch -The glass walls in the bathroom wouldn't shut and the door was broken. It was very hot. -The safe didn't work. -The wifi didn't work -There was a hole in the ceiling (thankfully it didn't rain) -The walkway of the hotel has string lights with no bulbs and accessible to be touched and electrocuted. This is not a 4 star hotel. I don't give it more than a 3 at most. There are better hotels in the area and some that do not cost over $200 a night.
The property was gorgeous. I loved our room and the common areas. The plug in bathroom 305 does not hold the plug and falls out. So, doing my hair or steaming my dresses was a difficult task. No other issues with the room. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very basic. You only get to pick from 3 categories. They do not have mimosas (to purchase) and the breakfast service was very slow each morning even though we were often the only table down there. They were always out of juice of some sorts and it was slow to get. Everything else about our stay was wonderful. Dinner was okay. I think most of all the aesthetics of this place are spectacular. Lastly, the location was perfect! Very close to everything, we walked everywhere and its very close to the wall. You can walk every where anyways, but I really did enjoy the street we were on. I'd go back to stay for location, but I'd prefer a better brunch or breakfast spot.
