Great Saturday evening stay
We stayed over with my wife because we were meeting my brother for Christmas lunch. After reading various reviews we were a bit apprehensive, but we have to say we had a great stay! The room was large, comfortable, clean. The bathroom also. The bonus was the pub in the building so we didn’t have to find another place for dinner. They were very busy -it was a boxing match evening, but we got served with no issues and the food was lovely!! The breakfast was a bit muddled up, but they were short staffed and the cook was temporary, so ot was understandable. We will be back!

Great place to stay for family's
We enjoyed staying in this hotel as it was very well cleaned and the bed was comfortable, the room we stayed in was a family room and had a double bed and two single bed, it had a very nice TV in the room that was more than antique for our need being it was a 43", the bathroom was clean and had a great power shower also a bath. Would recommend this hotel to other very good food served in the PUB ajesant to the property.

I would say it was a good valie for our money. room was clean and beds were comfortable. Slept really well! Staff was friendly. bar and restaurant were both busy and almost everyone was eating. That's a good sign. We havn't tried the food, but menu looked good and we would have stayed for dinner, if we did niot have reservation else were. Common areas, like the corridors looked a little outdated and you would have to call for a staff member to attend reception desk, but once they did they were professional and friendly.

I don't expect much from hotels, but something as basic as the ability to check in and out is not asking too much. Front desk reception was non-existent. We had to look for them to check in, which took so long, my husband wanted to leave. Not too worry, when they arrived we decided not to stay another night and checked out the next morning. Yes, you guessed it - no front desk reception. We waited for over an hour (we noticed guests just left their key cards on the table) but we didn't want to check out that way. We wanted to see a person. Never happened! In the end we left and called the hotel at 1 pm to see if we were checked out. Nope! Best Western tried calling but nobody answered. Reservations had to check us out over the phone. Like I said, I don't expect too much from hotels, but if I can't check in or out - what exactly would you call this place...

Dissappointing Hotel for Best Western.
Sadly not worth the money charged for an old facility long over due updating at these charges. Only used as accommodation and can only comment on arrival and room condition.
