The Urban Suites

We were three people and stayed in a single bed room suite. It was a clean apartment with furnished kitchen. The Urban suite team was prompt in their responses and services facilitated ( taxi for airport drop off at 4.30 in morning). However, bathroom was a bit cramped and toilet seats bit worn out. They can do better by at least facilitating a bottle of drinking water , salt and sugar as available kitchen essentials given that it had a furnished kitchen. The apartment was in a local residential area , close to Sants railway station with few supermarkets which are open till late.

It is a 10 minute walk from the Barcelona train station which was ideal for us. It is 5 min walk to two different metro lines which is great - for 10.20 euro you can buy a 10 trip ticket. Great for getting around. The apartment was great for extra room and for having our breakfasts in. 7 min away is a large super market. Our host was super friendly with loads of good tips on what to see and where to go. Next trip to Barcelona we will stay here for sure.

It was a nice cool place. About 600m meter walking distance from Barcelona Sants. Its located in living area.There were few shops along the way, so you could buy something to eat upon arrival. Farmacy nearby. About 500m waking distance to Hop On Hop Off bus stop, Aerobus bus stop & Monjuic Water Fountain. It was very easy to take the Aerobus from here to the airport. The apartment was so clean and huge. The extra king size bed also comfort enough but has no heater to warm us especially at night. I cooked simple meal in their kitchen. There're also small fridge, toaster & microwave oven. It is better if they could equipt the unit with washing machine & dryer as well. The first entrance that we went actually close but had no notice board. It confused us at first.Luckily one woman passing by and kindly help us about it. The reception counter looked so simple but completed with many brochures etc. Isabel the person incharge there was so nice & helpfull. Hope to see her again in future.

The apartments are really well located for access to the blue and green metro lines and airport buses from Pl. Espanya. Isabel was really welcoming and helpful. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Lovely shower with complementary toiletries. Comfy bed. We will definitely stay again.

Overall a pretty comfortable place to stay very close to the main train station in Barcelona, which made it very convenient as a quick stopover for us on our way back home to the U.S. A good amount of space, a great kitchen, and great lighting. It does seem a bit past its prime, as a few of the details are starting to fall apart - as an example, despite there being three of us in the room, they only had one key for us. And opening the main door took a good amount of key-jiggling and finesse. The staff were really sweet however.
