The location and service is excellent. The squeaking timber floor makes it hard to walk at night without waking everyone. Also the room is not sound proof. We could hear all the noise on the street. Also, the master bed is actually 2 singles joined together which kept moving when I toss and turn.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, even better then the photos. The only issue is that there was very prominent construction right outside of our window that started at 8 am. It was impossible to sleep in. Obviously, the staff have minimum control over this, but I would ask about possible construction when booking your room as the outside walls are thin.

Myself and a group of friends came to Madrid to celebrate a 30th Birthday. The location was ideal and central to everything! The apartment was spacious even with 4 girls getting ready every day.

We love the spacious size and well furnished apartment that Eric vokel runs. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. Even when we encountered problems during our stay, they responded quickly to help us. So whether you are looking to stay for a day or more, I recommend this property for a home away from home experience.

Great stay. Clean and convenient.

The hotel space is great but the street is very noisy and loud and the commotion went on most of the night. There were not many good restaurants convenient to the hotel. It did not appear safe to walk late at night. I wish this hotel was in a different area because I loved the apartment itself and the management was very friendly.

We booked this for a family vacation to Spain. We had a two bedroom suite. The bedrooms themselves were a little small, but the living/dining area was huge. In addition, we had an amazing patio on the 4th flloor. Rooms were very quiet and we slept well March was a little cool to take advantage of it though. Also, the staff was excellent. There was one young woman who spoke English very well who was extremely smart and efficient and helped us get in the room a little early when we arrived, guided us to a store to get SIM cards (RIA.. just down the street), assisted us booking an extra night when our flight back to NYC was cancelled for snow and also arranged for a early morning taxi. I really appreciated the professional and efficient service. The overall model for this aparthotel was an interesting hybrid that I have not seen before. They had many amenities (soap, shampoo, detergent, coffee, cocoa, olive oil) downstairs for guests to help themselves and provided a breakfast box each morning with some tasty offerings. The location was very convenient. Cabs frequently available on Calle de San Bernardo, though you can walk to many sites easily. The only downside was that the internet in our room wasn't working well. Devices would sometimes connect and sometimes would not. The staff tried to reset the main router as well as the one in the room but it didn't work. Also, the hotel feels relatively newly renovated. Would definitely stay here again.
