Holiday Inn Express Cabo San Lucas

We were there for a meeting and the home that we own was rented so we weren’t looking for anything fancy so this hotel met our needs. It is simple and very clean. The view is nice - but you have to look past the local trailers. Not bad because I am very familiar with all aspects of Cabo. The front staff is friendly. The nearby restaurants in the shopping center are good and the workout facility was very convenient. Highly recommend for the price as long as you don’t want to be on the beach or walkable to downtown.

The hotel is fine,clean and modern. The room was.comfortable except one issue. All the rooms on the second floor at the pool and are above a gym and this is open from 6am until gone 10pm and the noise is ridiculous. They are moving and dropping weighs constantly. They changed our room without a problem. The issues why would the manager put people who are obviously in holiday and getting off a flight from London in a room he must have known was not appropriate. Disappointed in the lack of thought and care

Had some issues at check in which were resolved. Other than that it was a great experience. Easy & free parking. Comfortable bed. Clean. Close to downtown/marina area of Cabo, about a 10 minute drive. Free breakfast. Good air conditioner. Great price.

Good clean hotel. If you don't have a car,forget it. You are not close to any thing. Costco across the street but on the other side of Highway 1. No way to cross it. Taxi to downtown{3 miles} costs $15. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Same food every day.

Centrally located area across from Costco. Rooms either face the Sea of Cortez or the street. Initially we were given a street view, but requested a sea view with no problem. It was a little extra, but worth it. There are no balconies for any of the rooms. The hotel is only two levels. There is a small wading pool with nice views of the Sea of Cortez. They have plenty of seating at the pool, but not enough umbrellas. The hotel staff works hard to make the stay pleasant. There is a hot breakfast every morning, but some mornings the food was cold. The room was a nice size for me and my husband an the rooms were quiet. The bathroom was pretty clean, but the shower was so-so clean. We did not have enough washcloths for two people so we had to make a request. There was one bottle of shampoos and one bottle of lotion (small travel size). Not adequate for two people. We did go out and buy our own shower gel. We brought our own lotion.There are two bottles of water in the room and if you ask for more there is a charge. If you stay here there is a Walmart less than a mile away. There is a convenience store, book store, bank, atm machines, and several other establishments in this strip. You are on the local bus line and there are a variety of buses that you can catch with the locals. Very easy to get anywhere you want to go. Prepare for days with cold showers, though not always. No microwave or fridge.
