Hotel MIDO Myeongdong

Very very excellent facilities and service. Clean room and convenient location. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend without any hesitation

Nice hotel Room is OK for 3 person but need to go up 2 flight of stair as some room cannot be reach by lift. For location, it is great.

Small room but it is all you need if you’re out sightseeing all day. Liked that breakfast was provided. Rooms are really clean and as advertised. Location very convenient - close to subways and restaurants.

Cons: Room was small, no windows. shower head was loose and leaky. water stains on the walls. ventilation is poor. air quality in room was terrible due to dirty air conditioner. blood? stains on the bed sheets. Pros: bottled water was provided daily, trash was cleaned daily, breakfast included some pastries, fruit, and juice. location was good and walkable to shopping areas.

Location by Changgyecheong is wonderful the river is only 1 minute away. Or if you want to walk along Jongro and visit some of the older tourist sites in Seoul, you're only 5-10 minutes away. Mr. Kim was very helpful with our check in. He allowed us to "self check-in" by leaving the key in our room. He was a great communicator - contacting me after I made a reservation at the last minute in order to make our stay smoother. The room was clean and we were provided towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower did what showers do. The pipes below the sink were open so water gushed onto the floor when you turned on the tap. That was the only negative thing I can say about Kimstay. Location is amazing, the owner is great, and the price is absolutely unbeatable. My wife and I will stay here again.

One of the biggest worries for me when travelling is the noise factor when I'm trying to sleep. I usually take along a small white noise machine for this purpose. Hotel Mido is so quiet! I almost felt like I was making too much noise with my noise machine because it was just so quiet! I slept like a baby here! The room, of course, isn't at large as we are used to back at home. However, it is large enough for us to relax, spread out our shopping items, and keep our luggage out of the way. The air conditioner (a must for summer visits!) is very efficient! The bathrooms are beautiful and up-to-date. While we bring some of our own, all the amenities you need are in the room: toothbrush toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, razors, and more! I enjoy the cafe on the first floor of the hotel. The staff are all so accommodating and very nice. Over the course of two weeks, we spent several evenings in the cafe eating a snack, drinking a delicious drink, and people watching out the windows. It was so peaceful! This hotel is located very near to the subway. It really is such a short distance. The walk from the subway to the hotel comes with views of N. Seoul Tower as well. There are also many other excellent places nearby, such as Myeongdong and Seoullo. I love the location! We have stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions for a little over two weeks each visit. I will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Seoul. It is so perfect for us.
