Real Salamanca

The rooms are filthy, I feel framed, no air conditioning, no fan, full of mosquitoes, old, rusty, noisy, stained sheets, overall a terrible experience. I wouldn't give it one single star, it's the far worst hotel I have stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at Real Salamanca! The location was perfect for walking to everything in Roma and Condesa and is also very close to the Sevilla Metro station. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the courtyard is beautiful with nice trees and patio furniture--perfect for relaxing with a book. Our room on the second floor was clean and very spacious, with high ceilings and nice architectural details and a comfortable bed. All the rooms open onto the courtyard and the vibe is very bed and breakfast/old mansion (not at all like a corporate hotel), which is what we prefer.

This is an old apartment building perhaps built in the 30s and remodeled. There are room options, mine a single with kitchenette and cozy bed. Maybe a bit overpriced but a bargain by US standards. Maybe by oversight I didn't get the customary bottle of water. As with most places in CDMX there is no heat or air. Nice

Older building, but very clean and comfortable. Good beds, quiet nights, and awesome reception/door service (Carlos).
