Hotel Ninfa

Great location. They can help with tour arrangements. You can ride around town on their free bicycles. The property is one block away from the port and two blocks away from Las Ninfas Lagoon.

The hotel does the job, has a basic bar and pool, is very close to the pier which helps for the day trips for island hoping and has a bed. The cleanliness is average at best and the rooms very basic. Water pressure is limited but this seems a pattern on the island although we did have good pressure in other hotels we stayed in. The selling point is really the location. I would say its a $100 - $125 a night hotel and i guess you get what you paid for. The people / customer service were nice the hotel just needs a little TLC. Wifi is very weak in all locations and deoesn't really work in the rooms. Forget about factime / skyping home

Nice staff but dirty rooms no amenities dirty towels

This is a nice hotel with restaurant, just about a block from the center of downtown and the port. Check-in was a little weird, as they didn't know that I had paid in advance...best to print out that page and take it with you. My room was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was tasty. Check-out was strange, with the hotel once again wanting to charge me until I once again showed the printout saying I had pre-paid.

We were only here for one night and it was a pleasant experience overall. Staff is super friendly, there's a little pool and a shared courtyard area. You can't beat the location just a block away from the port and the main supermarket. Only complaints are breakfast was meager pickings and also our bathroom could've been cleaner. Rooms are a little dated but they have air conditioning and they are building a new breakfast/bar area that looks great so perhaps breakfast experience will improve.
