This is an amazing experience with the host. The location was awesome between Rome and Vatican City. Also, there are a lot of good restaurants near the location.

You absolutely cannot beat this property for location! It sits behind Castel Santangelo just around the corner from St. Peter's - but wait, that's just the beginning. The bridges along the Tiber are positioned along a curve where each is a 5 - 10 minute walk and you pick the bridge depending on where you want to go. Dinner or shopping? Piazza Navona? Trastevere? Each a different bridge! Even Piazza del Populo is just across the bridge (a bit more of a walk along the Tiber/ Tevere, but a nice one). It is very clean - the rooms are large enough and the lobby is very clean and conducive to sitting and relaxing. Breakfast is at a local cafe with good pastries, coffee and a chance to get out and eat with the locals. When we asked about airport transport he was willing to make arrangements, but also told us that the airport shuttle was only 1 1/2 blocks away and cost only 6 Euro (versus the standard 48 - 60 that cabs and Uber charge). Great deal when you are light on luggage!
