Incredible restaurant patio and pool area. The manager was extremely helpful, went out of his way to arrange us last-second transport to the train station. Location is both advantage and disadvantage depending what you’re looking for. Somewhat removed above the town.

The property has a stunning location on a hilltop overlooking lush green hills. The infinity pool is breathtakingly situated. Staff are extremely helpful and willing to please.

It was a great three day stay. Unfortunately, there was a mix up on the last day with transportation that the hotel had arranged. We ended up in a car with a driver who didn't know where they were going and didn't speak English. This left us with a sour experience with Theva. Plus, certain details weren't shared with us at check in, like that breakfast was included. Overall, good stay, great food, just need to follow through on things.

The view from this property is fantastic and the food is surprisingly good - although Western not Sri Lankan. The staff are very friendly and do their best to make your stay as good as possible. The photos make this property probably look a little swankier than it actually is but for a couple of nights it’s perfectly fine.

Everything is perfect, they have candles for the bath, an incredible restaurant, amazing views and above and beyond service. We had breakfast included in the room rate and on our last day when we had to leave early the manager suggested that we ask the kitchen for a To go box breakfast the night before which was so sweet. They also are hanged a driver for us for the day to take us around the local sites, the rate they charged us was about the same as offers we had gotten in town from various drivers and much cheaper then online rates. Our drive/guide was amazing and helped suggest points of interest since we didn’t know the area very well. We hope to spend more time here, it’s a really special place.

Check in was hassle free and service was good throughout the stay. We found the rooms a little on the basic side but we did just pay for a standard room. The view from the room however was fantastic. We only stayed one night for which it was fine.
