Riad Anabel

Absolutely fantastic stay. This is a well-run small Riad where the owner and her staff make you feel totally at home. They are very thoughtful and considerate. The rooms and the central communal part of the Riad are beautiful. I had my birthday and anniversary whilst I was there and both were made to feel special by the staff.

From the minute I arrived until check out, the service was personal and excellent. The Riad was beautifully maintained and quiet to be in the middle of the city.

We wish we could give 6 out of 5 for their high quality service. Habiba, Mohamed and the rest of the small team do everything possible to make the stay as comfortable and seamless as possible, and always with a friendly smile. A really nice touch is to provide a mobile phone for guests to be able to contact the hotel. Our room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was Moroccan style and plentiful. The terrace on the top floor is a great way to relax and eat. The whole riad is very quiet and romantic - a peaceful oasis. We recommend the Hamman spa and massage (in your room). We also had a very tasty romantic dinner which was amazing. They have good recommendations for tours and experiences around Marrakech. We would gladly stay here again.

Great stay, the location was great also. Buy the staff was incredible!!! They went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful!!!! Highly recommend this place !!! I will go back there for sure !!

Riad Anabel was the absolute best experience! My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon and we loved everything about our stay. Habiba, Mohammed and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The homemade breakfast was delicious and included with our stay. From the minute you arrive, the team at Riad Anabel ensures you are taken care of. They welcome you with delicious mint tea and sit with you to walk you thru the must-see attractions in Marrakech as well as safety tips and places to eat. They even provide a local cell phone so you can reach the staff if needed. The location of the Riad is perfect...in the heart of the Medina, but off a side street so you can enjoy quiet and calm from the frenzy of the main streets. The dinner Habiba herself prepared for us on our last night was the most amazing meal we had in Marrakech, and if you let her know in advance, Habiba will even host a Moroccan cooking class for you! We had such a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back to Riad Anabel. Book this little gem if you can!

We, a retired couple, stayed here for 3 nights to visit Marrakech. The Riad is located in the heart of the Medina, close to the main square and other sites to visit. There are restaurants nearby, but we ate in for all 3 nights and are glad we did. Habiba is an accomplished, creative and fabulous chef. We had a variety of wonderful Moroccan salads, delicious tajines and tasty desserts, served with grace and elan on the rooftop terrace, in the dining alcove or in the courtyard. Breakfasts were wonderful on beautiful rooftop terrace, weather permitting, with more food than we could eat. The room was great: good AC, TV with innumerable channels, comfortable bed and charming traditional decor. Staff were endlessly helpful from picking us up, making onward arrangements or anything else we asked. What a great stay.

This is the first time I have ever reviewed a hotel before checking out. I don't think I have ever been treated so nicely, and been floored by the amount of effort that a staff has put in to making guests feel welcome. This place is amazing. Very well located, and stunningly beautiful. But the people make the difference. The breakfast is beyond words. There is no where else you should stay in Marrakech.
