Sunset Palms Resort

Lovely secluded place on the sunset side of the island. Staff was very friendly, the villas we stayed in were lovely. Recommend renting bikes as the horse carriages get rather bumpy on the small roads if you plan to go to bars, restaurants etc.

Friendly staffs, good services, very nice hotel with awesome private pool. I enjoyed my stayed in this villa very much. If you love peaceful and would like to stay away from noisy areas, this hotel definitely is your choice

Very nice people, great private villa with a lovely swimmingpool. Power went out once but was fixed after a few minutes. There was no phone in the room so room service had to be ordered at the restaurant. Close to the beach and some restaurants. Overall great place to stay!

Part of my honeymoon Bali trip. The room itself was incredible. Private villa, private pool...but that's about it. Towels were never ready, the floor was always sandy, power went off which reset everything about 6-7 times a day (worse at night). AC was awful - it was either winter in the room or not working at all. One night I woke up to water raining down on my head from the AC, I had to move the bed forward to avoid it. Breakfast food wasn't anything special, in fact it was probably the worst I had all trip. And the WIFI was non-existent in the room. And the toilet and shower were outside. It's cool for about 2 seconds until you realize there's no AC and when you go for those late night pees, your wacking away any wildlife/lizards/ants that have decided to join the party. As for location, it was closer to the "quieter" side of the island, but it was still really close to cool shops and a really close bike ride away from anything you wanted to get too. The Hotel actually had the cheapest bike rental I saw on the entire island. Summary - for the price I paid to stay here (the most out of all the places I stayed in Bali, Lombok, and Gili T) it was NOT WORTH it. You're barely in the room anyways. I'd stay somewhere else for cheaper as the "luxury" that was promised was not might by any means.
