Cheap for the price, was a great experience and more fun than staying in a normal hotel
Very small but that’s the fun, very clean and great to be in a hut with a verander and good lighting for the evening. I’m definitely coming back again with my 11 year old. Splash park on site so bring your swimming gear.
Very warm considering it was a wooden cabin in a storm. There was no cooked breakfast available and I wish I'd know that before I got there, Megan
It was good for the price in out of peak season but would have been disappointed if we had paid any more. Our confirmation said we would have a flat screen tv, which we didn’t.
Plumbing was not good, faucets not fastened, no daily maid service, etc etc etc
What an excellent little getaway, fun, novel, exciting and magical experience for my two two boys age 8 and 5. They've always loved staying over in a hotel but this was a whole new level. Accommodation clean and staff friendly. We went out of season so it was very quiet but in my eyes that's a bonus. We took a portable barbecue and food and made use of our outdoor space. Kids loved it. Will definitely book again and probably for a little longer price depending. One disadvantage was that signposting was pretty poor but we got there in the end. We also made use of the hotel swimming pool and flumes which was 2 hours of great fun all for £5 per child. Can't wait to hear back next year possibly in the sunshine next time. Easiest five stars ive ever given.
Canvas sheet to toilet to small for gap, should have a proper door. Heating not individually cobtrolable, lots of builders and other workers staying meabt it wasn't a family atmosphere.
The staff here are wonderful and the food in the restaurant was lovely but don't try and get a breakfast sandwich as it is just not possible. There are two play areas which are adequate but the remainder of activities have to be booked in advance and cost extra. The £175.00 per night cabin is not worth it, it is small and the shower is a joke. The beds are uncomfortable and every noise outside or in is heard and shared (please do remember that if you are staying). The sofa is for two even though the accommodation is for four. Mirrors are located in the bathroom and by the kitchen sink and electricity is not placed in areas where you are easily able to plug in hair appliances. Definitely not worth the money despite the lovely staff.
Absolutely shocking what we given for a family of 6 ages given at time of booking so no excuses. We paid for 2 nights and ended up leaving after 1 night it was so uncomfortable. Also no WiFi as advertised apparently it’s a first come first served basics and with it being the school holidays and busy we missed out. The park itself was lovely just a shame about the management and accepting complaints would never stay here again
lovely place, kids loved it - reasonably priced
