Chala Number 6 Hotel

Magnifique hôtel, un oasis de verdure au milieu de la « jungle urbaine ». Les plus: superbe décoration, belle taille de chambre, sdb confortable avec baignoire et douche. Extérieur luxuriant avec une belle piscine en longueur. Personnel souriant et avenant. Le spa est 2 3 fois plus chère que l’extérieur mais le service et la propreté sont aux rdvs. Les moins: notre chambre était à coté d´une ecole donc certains matins on se faisait gentiment reveiller par des braillements. Le petit déjeuner est trop peu fourni, c’est dommage pour un hôtel de ce standing.

Less than 2 years old, clean, well decorated. Bar drinks weren't the best, but the bartender who made them went out of his way to learn to improve our drinks and succeeded.

Chiang Mai is the best part of Thailand, and Chala Number 6 was heaven. Everything about this hotel was lovely... the staff, accommodations, the food, and location were all amazing. The hotel grounds are small but magical. I can’t praise this property enough.

We loved staying at Chala No. 6 - From the entrance to the lobby, to the entrance to our room, everything was in top order. Everything is well maintained, the pool is wonderful (some reviewers complained it is cold - it is 37 degrees outside, you need the pool to be cool and refreshing, otherwise what is the point?), the breakfast buffet was very nice, especially the omelette/egg station. We are early risers so the school next door didn't bother us a bit, we quite enjoyed the liveliness it brought about. Lots of spas, shops, restaurants and convenience stores nearby as well as temples worth visiting. The staff is wonderful, everyone greets and smiles at you and that is a very wonderful, welcoming feeling. Everyone was eager to help and couldn't do enough. We highly recommend staying here, you won't be sorry! For the negative reviews, we really don't get how you wouldn't enjoy this hotel as we found really nothing of issue.
