Peace of Paradise

Very nice guest rooms. Our room had a small kitchenette with fridge as well as a nice view of the back garden. We were able to spot a lot of wildlife just from the balcony, such as monkeys, macaws, and the two sloths that are residing in the back trees. The room we stayed at was the only unit without AC but it was still comfortable at night with the breeze. Jim also provided us with great recommendations.

Great place to stay. Jim and Carlos are super hospitable and accommodating. Our next door was a mama sloth which was a great surprise. Highly recommend this place.

This property far exceeds the photos and look of the exterior!! The staff are pleasant and very accommodating! They let us have a room with AC for one of the three nights and then they moved all of our luggage to the next room after it was vacated and cleaned! Lillie provided great suggestions for restaurants and beaches and Andre even rinsed down our car one evening. The breeze through the room was good and the location...close to Manuel Antonio and Quepos was good for us! Thanks for a great stay at the end of our vacation!

Stunning views and very relaxing atmosphere- really enjoyed our stay! Jim was also fantastic available to answer questions as well as give recommendations on places to go and restaurants in the area.

Peace of Paradise was a fantastic find! Our host Jim was gracious, kind, and made excellent discerning suggestions and recommendations. We were upgraded to an absolutely beautiful suite with king-size bed, two bathrooms and a private balcony. His garden boasted its own mother sloth with child. The trees there were teaming with birds and flowers. Although Manuel Antonio Park did not disappoint, there was so much life in the trees, we really didn't need to leave our balcony. Wish we'd stayed there longer, as many of his other guests chose to do. Hands down, the best value of accommodation on our entire trip. Thanks Jim!

A peaceful little place - clean and quiet with a shady verandah outside our room. Jim was very helpful with tourist info, spotting animals in the garden and sharing his love of plants. A 2 minute walk to the local bus to Manuel Antonio’s beaches and national park.

The absolute most perfect spot to stay in Manuel Antonio. Everyone was so kind and assisted us with communicating to local shuttle services, tours etc. We stayed in the economy lodge and I must say, I don't regret it one bit. Our room had the ideal view into the trees where we saw numerous animals. We were not searching for them, they simply appeared when we least expected them! We saw Agouti, lizards, Whiteface monkeys, Scarlet Macaws and our last day we saw the three toed momma sloth with her baby! She had left her location and came back to her spot. The Macaw's ate from the Indian Almond tree (I believe that's what it is) for a little over an hour. We also could hear the Howler monkeys from our balcony, but only saw those at MA National Park. The room has screen windows which are ideal when you sleep as you can hear all the wildlife at night and when the sun begins to rise. The garden area is a sight to see within itself as it's filled with beautiful plants. The location of this place is also ideal as the bus stops are right around the corner. It is near a super and there are restaurants near by. There is no way we would have experienced all the wildlife by staying at a resort. This has been an amazing experience and I'll truly miss simply sitting on the balcony while soaking up the sun and observing the animals. Definitely will not be our last time at Peace of Paradise.

Spacious, clean, air conditioned, kitchen facilities.

The A/C, huge (and nice) shower and cool room were all much appreciated. The was a sweet Sloth just hanging out in the Trees right beside our room. Jim was a great host and made our short stay perfect.

It is a very beautiful place. You see the birds from there, monkeys. It has a good location, very quiet area and close to the bus stop in case you want to ride it. The manager is a lovely person and he arranged the transportation that I needed. Even he let me took a shower in another room before I left to another location in the afternoon after my check out.
