The only thing that lets the property down is its policy of only putting out a set amount of food for each sitting of breakfast and dinner buffets, and not replenishing.
It means those who visit in the last hour of the allocated dining time find there isn’t much left, because earlier diners have eaten it all.
When finding ourselves in this situation and asking for replenishments, we were advised by the waiting staff that they have “run out” and there was “no more”.
This response was given for even staple food items, which clearly would be available again the following day (granola, milk, butter, ham).
When we complained to reception, the items which had run out were miraculously restocked and provided to us.
We’re all for avoiding food waste, but those choosing to dine later shouldn’t be disadvantaged. We all pay the same dining fee after all.
It’s a real shame, because otherwise the stay was great.
