Just a dump. Especially for the price.
Horribly maintained and staffed hotel. Rooms and public areas are worn and in disrepair. Sheets are torn and worn out. Had to try two rooms due to lack of cleaning and then had to request missing towels. Have stayed at better Motel 6 discount hotels.

It’s fine if you just need a bed
Blankets on bed were too thin. The lights in room needed new bulbs. Had to call for essentials such as toilet paper. The restaurant on-site did not have a working kitchen. The pool was freezing.

Horrible place
The entire hotel didnt have any towels and when asking staff, it was a very rude response to no reason why or when or if we would get towels. Restaurant Moffat, has horrible food and service was so slow. Pool, was about 40 degrees, and hot tub was green and barely warm. Hallway reeked of Marijuana and families were being moved to different rooms to get away from it. We had to use a blanket to block the door from having it seep into our room. It was so strong!!! Not sure if there isnt enough staff, or lack of training. But since my last visit 4 yrs ago, i'd definitely say its a dying hotel. I would not recommend the stay.

Service was great, the place it self was not. Had no towels staff was scrambling to wash and find towels, no toiletries in bathroom, hot tubs old and made water look green and dirty.

I felt bad for the staff! What a dump!
Well, we will never forget it! This hotel is SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. The staff was friendly and patient considering everyone was mad at them because there were no towels. For days! The hot tubs were green and were smaller than the hole in the deck with exposed wiring and such. There were stains on our sheets and popcorn in the bed. I will say, the bar and game room for the kids was pretty nice and the location is great. But whoever owns this place is charging a lot for a dump across the street.

Do not stay here! It's a scam!
Do not stay here under any circumstance! No bath towels, no soap, no wash cloths, no housekeeping, no blanket on bed, no service (understaffed), no manager on site, only one coffee in the room for 2 people. This was the most ridiculous hotel experience my wife and I have ever had in our lives! We met others that had the same experience if not worse! This place should be shut down!

No soap and no towels
This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room had no TV remote and I called five times to get one throughout the evening and no one could bring one. The room also did not come with towels and they were not able to deliver any as they ran out. The worst part of all was that they had no soap and when I called the front desk before bedtime they said there was no soap for anyone in the hotel. They simply ran out. It was unhealthy and not sanitary to stay here.

Hotel is very close to Winter Park, but because of the shuttle route it still took a while to get to the resort. And you can’t walk. The hot tub was disappointing, luke warm not hot. Probably would not stay here agai .

The Worst ever!
We stayed there 29,30,31 of 2024 to go snow skiing. The first day we could not check in til after 5pm, then when we did there was no towels or washcloths in room. after two days of begging , we finally got 2 new ones on last night. Everybody else was complaining as well. We also had a table cloth put on our bed instead of sheet. We saw cleaning crew but never a vacuum ever, will never go back.

Towelless room!
Terrible! Our room had no towels! When asked in the reception, they gave us 2 towels (for 2 adults and 2 kids!) and told me they would send towels afterwards. After 2 hours I asked again and their answer was that all towels were in the laundry, they could not do anything about it and that maybe they will send towels later. Of course it never happened. The front desk guy gave me the email of the manager - Czarina Cochran; I will write her, of course. Furthermore, the room had no blankets, and the cart to take the luggage up was not available. It is a shame such a lousy service and facilities in such a great location. Never returning to that hotel again. Whoever reads this, just dont go!

Terrible service
This hotel has terrible service. They don’t have enough towels for our family - my sister and her family had to use small towels from the pool because the front desk didn’t have any to provide them (there were none in their room). The hotel manager was nonexistent, the pool and hot tubs were freezing, and the complimentary grab and go breakfast was not actually complimentary (see picture of the menu). It had a bed, was relatively clean, and a hot shower. Other than that, the stay was pretty awful.

Poor check in experience
Rooms were not ready as communicated. Check in was supposed to be 4pm but room wasn’t ready until 6pm. Is that even a full stay? We should be partially refunded at least. The bar also didn’t have any sports on which is so strange so we were stuck waiting for the room without much accommodations.

Bless their Hearts
We tried to cancel right after we booked. The reviews are accurate to the hotel. I haphazardly booked it as hotels com recommended it and read the reviews too late. They didnt not accept my refund and cancellation request so we were forced to stay here and held our breaths for our best. Upon arrival we asked for a possible paid upgrade and were notifoed that the hotel was oversold. The manager and front staff were curteous and sweet. The receptionist tried hard to please. The location is wonderful, right across the mountain. Parking is easy. The hotel is distressed. It has alot of potential. No humidifiers available on site. Odd for a mountain town. Bathroom tub needed a resurface. Window glass was broken. Sheets and blankets were thin. Bed, hard to sleep on. Hot tub was more of a warm tub. Overall, I would'nt recommend a stay here. At least not in the room we were in. Mountain towns can get away charging absorbent prices for delapitated rooms. I wish the hotelier took pride in the product he was offering. I hope to visit a renovated property in the future. Till then I would look for alternatives.

We had great people in reception and in the restaurant/ grab and go. The big thing with me is the have removable curtain rods in the bathroom and as I was opening the shower curtain it fell on me, I didn't get really hurt, thank goodness but I went to call the front desk to get it fixed and the phone didn't work.
