Comfortable at a good price.
This was our 2nd stay here. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Blind on door was broken and needed to be replaced with light blocking blind as their neon sign is very bright. Front desk staff need to learn how to greet guests and speak up. Will stay again.

We arrived during the first weekend of the off season (November 1st), so everything was probably a lot quieter than usual - with the outdoor pool and beach closed. Yet knowing that the hotel was certainly nowheres near full, we were disappointed to find that our jacuzzi king room (the type of room an adult couple would choose) was next to a room with a family with multiple children. Made even stranger by an adjoining door that would connect the two rooms, and allowed every word, yell, and TV sounds into our room. Obviously hotels have kids, I know that, but I think those room assignments should have been more thoughtful. That adjoining door blocked no sounds was beyond annoying. I loved the Jacuzzi tub in our room, it was large, clean and worked properly. The tiles had seen better days, but I understand that people are hard on hotel rooms. The bathroom was very small and shabby. The king bed was moderately comfortable. But the room was mostly clean (some dust and hair in the drawer I opted not to put my clothes in). We only ever saw staff at check-in and checkout. The guy at check-in wasn't super friendly, but it was fine. When we were out day-one our towels were refreshed and plastic cups replaced, but the bed was not changed or made. Next time I'm in the Dells I'll probably pick somewhere else to stay. But Aloha was the cheapest ($150 a night) we could find on short notice with an in-room Jacuzzi, so I'm happy with that.

Nice hotel on a lake
We had one of the Tiki rooms. It was fairly clean and comfortable. The heating unit either had to be set on heat which would shut the fan off every few minutes, or it had to be set on fan in order to run the fan steady and drown out the other noises of other guests near us. Since it was impossible to really sleep with the fan turning on and off throughout the night, we had to resort to just putting the fan on steady and being cold until we couldn't take that anymore, and then turning the heat on until it warmed up the room. Then back to more fan. On the positive side, they seem to upkeep the hotel and grounds pretty well, and the free passes to the zoo were appreciated. It is also a beautiful setting on the lake.
