Poor Quality hotel that thinks it is better
We arrived and because of the location decided to stay another day, the cost was more for the extra day than we had paid for the first day but it was convienant so we paid it, upon leaving the person paying next to us paid less than we paid for one extra night for two nights! so feel ripped off. With regard to the hotel the electric charging points were just 2kw, and there were supposed to me 3 point, of these one had wires bare and loos, the other did not work and the one that did work had thesame car plugged in for the two days, so impossible to use, the carpark was partially flooded with stagnant water which was never cleaned up, also soap and shampoo were not added to our room on the second day, there was no plug in the bath and we had to wait 90 min to get one, the food was limited and very expensive and it cost more if you wanted to sit on the terrace! so basically very disappointed, feel that we were overcharged, and the place feels like it is being run down.

The room was fine but there was not air conditioning and it was warm for October. It was explained that the room can only have AC or heating, not both. And since the weather was supposed to change to cool the had already switched the system to heat. Unfortunately when you turned on the AC it blew hot air. They gave us a fan but it was still very uncomfortable.

Great place. We'll be back. What a shame the golf course is abandoned. But it's still worth it. Food is WAY over priced in their cafeteria/restaurant. We went into Jaca and enjoyed better food at a better price.

The ad for this hotel is deceiving. The spa is not included in this hotel. You will be asked for 25 euros per person per hour on top of your stay if you want the use the spa.

Overnight near Jaca
Great hotel that was very good value. We stopped here en route to Andorra and visited some villages in the Pyrenees. Breakfast had lots of choice- hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel and it was fairly basic. Wine was good and excellent value. Room was large and spacious and modern.

Just fabulous! The pool, views, room and service were all far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in and than we expected. We wish we’d been able to stay longer!

Tranquil and Comfortable
A lovely, if slightly isolated, hotel. Decent food and a lovely room with the most comfortable hotel bed and bedding I've ever experienced. Hotel spa is very expensive though and the Wi-Fi is poor throughout.

Beautiful Views, Great Hotel building, Not 4 star
The Hotel is in a beautiful part of the world and the building is very nice, well fitted and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well looked after. We stayed in a junior suite which was great, however our teenage boys stayed in a standard room with a tiny window that only a 6 foot tall person could see out of, so was dark and claustrophobic. We were half board; the breakfasts were pretty standard and what would be expected. We had a buffet dinner every night, so food was plentiful, but the dining experience felt like a canteen you would have a work; at best the food was just OK; the staff were pleasant and were very good at tiding your table as you went along. The dining was not 4 star. There was no pool bar or waiter service, and the walk to the hotel bar was a long one, which when on holiday is a pain; I would expect waiter service in a 4 start hotel. Despite advertising fast internet connection, there was very little to no connection at all; we complained everyday and got a shrug of the shoulders from the reception staff; this was extremely poor. The staff simply didn't care, and insisted that the WIFI was a free service and if it doesn't work, then unlucky! Expedia needs to look into false advertising very closely as my decision to book here was influenced by this. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but this is no 4 star hotel; If it was advertised as a 3 star, with no WIFI and considerably cheaper then our expectations would be lower and the review better

Great Hotel
Stayed here overnight on our way down to southern Spain. It was very quiet, but the staff were fantastic. The young man on the front desk sorted out a booking problem with no fuss whatsoever and the young lady in the bar could not have been more helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely get away
The Barcelo Jaca is a lovely hotel in the middle of no-where so only acessible if you have a car. It is about 5km outside of Jaca and a little difficult to find without a map. We are not golfers but we used the pool which was lovely. The views from the rooms are fabulous. The rooms are large and well nicely decorated. The bathroom has a large bath which is not normal in spanish hotels. They have a spa but you have to pay extra to use it. The town of Jaca is a lovely historical place to sightsee. The staff where friendly. The car park is payable but there is a free one next door to the hotel.

VERY quiet!
A great hotel in a beautiful area but there were so few guests (mid week, off peak season) at the hotel that the pool and spa were both closed. The bar and restaurant stayed open for the half dozen guests and the food we are was of good quality. Would recommend for a quiet stop off on a road trip but not for an extended stay as there is little to do other than play golf.

Quiet hotel outside of Jaca
My family (myself, my husband, and my 8-month-old son) stayed at this hotel while exploring the Pyrenees. The hotel is located about 5 minutes out of Jaca, 1 hour from Ordesa National Park, and 1 hour from Le Petit Train in the French Pyrenees. The hotel is not located IN Jaca, but in a small town nearby. The town has nice parks and is generally peaceful and baby-friendly. We had great views of the mountains. The staff was very helpful and always willing to help us find appropriate hiking paths and to provide us with brochures about local attractions. For English speakers, many of the hotel's staff/receptionists do not speak much - if any - English. Our room included a breakfast buffet which was good (although the dinner buffet looked like it was not worth the price). We ate dinner at the bar both nights and the food was quite good. The bar menu is the same as the room service menu. The room we had was spacious and clean.

6/10 Good

Our reception was good on arrival and departure. The suite was excellent but the room was not made up the following day. The buffet however was not up to the standard we expected, with the buffet trays remaining empty or half-empty for prolonged periods of time, resulting in guests having to wait patiently for them to be re-plenished. This happened both at breakfast and dinner. The quality of food was acceptable.
