Beautiful setting. Came to view the waterfall. Friendly staffs. Cocktail tasting is a plus. Room is clean. However, windows need to be more insulated. We came when it is 5 degree outside. I slept by window side and I can free the chill breeze. Overall, great place to stay.

Peaceful and cozy
Loved drinking tea looking at the waterfall andbplaying chess by the fireplace. Room is cozy with bathrobes. They have a gym just up the road which is very large and clean.

I wanted to run away and find solice.
This hotel has been held to the highest standards. I have rated everything five stars because it gave me everything I was looking for: comfort, tastefully decorated with fireplace, menu was more than adequate and the food cooked to perfection. The service was without fault. The external surroundings are breathtaking with seating and heating for fall and winter vacations. Outdoors at night looks like a Thomas Kinkade painting.

Not quite what was expected
We were slightly disappointed with the size of our room, it said we were to have a queen bed, but it really seemed more like just a full size, plus you couldn’t get any major network so on the TV you had to go through Netflix or Hulu so we couldn’t watch any local news

I would stay there again. I like the small size. It made it feel very intimate. Everyone was warm and very welcoming.

Beautiful property. Amazing staff. Rooms a bit small and no perks or amenities. Plain and simple rooms and a little over priced for that reason. Otherwise place is wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were ok. The building is quite old and definitely has it’s charm. We had the double bedroom with kitchen and everything we needed was there. Sadly we were at the parking side. Usually I wouldn’t mind actually and I could sit at the waterfall all day… But my husband didn’t have the patience to stay and my 17 month old of course needs his mommy at all times… So all vacation I didn’t have a chance to sit there and relax :/ So in that case a room with waterfall view would have been nice to at least watch it from the room… speaking of the waterfall, it’s sooo pretty, even more impressive than the pictures. The decks are so cozy and fires are lit at night. The restaurant was also really amazing! And Patricia and Dave at the front desk were sooo nice and really helpfull too! It’s a place to come back to!

Do not stay here unless you don’t mind carrying your own bag up a long flight of stairs (about 1.5 floors) and then up/down a narrow spiral staircase in a 2-room suite. Breakfast service at sister property was excellent, dinner was awful — items didn’t match their menu descriptions, service was way too slow and never checked with us.

Historic place that was set behind an old mill. Good items: staff; especially David, was very friendly and accommodating, suite was large with full kitchen, music in the restaurant was nice...light rock and blues, waterfalls next to the place were quite nice...breakfast credits for Cocoons were used and the food tasty... George was helpful in his golf cart to move our belonging...I did not use the gym but my son stated it was small but had good equipment...Other items: you have to be in shape to get to the second floor of 2-bedroom suite...steep spiral stairs, parking lot is narrow to get to and steep climb...AC unit in our bedroom was welcome but a little noisy...free standing unit next to the bed...

Cool hotel!
Very cool hotel in an old glass factory. Rooms small but worth the experience. Setting is excellent, right on waterfalls. Half hotel looks out to courtyard, stream area other side parking lot. Restaurant in hotel right on the water. Several deck areas to relax and look at water. Can use sister hotels short drive for pool (also excellent overlooking the lake get a wristband at that hotel -silver birches-check in) and snack bar at pool, also has restaurant at silver birches on that property. Other sister hotel has restaurant as well. Cocoon is fun coffee shop short distance up hill infront of silk factory-could walk/hike up but we drove. Would Ike to go to Ledges again!!
