We stayed for a couple of nights. Beautiful hotel, well located. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. There was construction work during our stay but we did not hear any noise and were not impacted by it. The courtyard in which we had the breakfast is lovely; it is also possible to have breakfast late as it is served until noon.
No nice view unfortunately (the room was facing a roof and another building).
We were however disappointed by a few negative points:
- There were quite a lot of spiders in the room so cleaning could be improved. Reception helped us, but reaching the high ceilings at night with a vacuum cleaner is quite challenging
- We were disappointed by the breakfast, rather overpriced (EUR 35) - the service was slow, disorganized and we had to return one of our orders as it was not correctly cooked. The food was ok, but the choice and quality disappointing for this price. A buffet would have been much better, but maybe not possible because of the coronavirus? In any case, the service should be improved
- It was not possible to make tea in the room (no kettle and no tea bags). We expected to find those basic items in a 5-star hotel
- The hotel features a small spa with a little pool - but there was no water in the pool and due to corona most of the spa was closed anyway. Not the hotel’s fault of course, but they should just mention it to clients upon arrival.
