Friendly staff/outdated hotel
I would rate the property itself as average. Hotel could use updating in rooms and common areas.
Staff was very friendly upon check in and anyone we saw for the one night stay. The breakfast preparer was very friendly.
Rooms was comfortable, bed was comfortable. However the room and linens could have been cleaner. There was lint and paper at the corners of furniture where a vacuum hose would clean this sufficiently for the next guest. There was hair on bathroom floor/tub and some on bed.
I’ve worked at a hotel and a lint roller is a god sent for the stubborn hair that sticks to the floor and tub. Lint roller could also be used to clean hair off of linens. A simple roll over makes a huge difference for guests.
Pool area was clean, didn’t use the amenities but decent size pool and hot tub.
Breakfast was good, not much selection but tasted good overall.
Biggest complaint was old TV in the room, very slow changing channels and no channel guide. So old that people on TV had part of their heads cut off because of the sizing on current shows and very outdated TV that couldn’t project the picture properly and old sounding speakers.
The exposed breaker box looks kind of dangerous for small children, none in my party but still didn’t seem right to have out in the open.
