good location in Lincoln Park
The rooms were a nice size. The location was great for our needs. The hotel can realy use an update/refresh. We have no issue with it being an older hotel, but this one is looking run down. We had 2 rooms for our family. We had to change 1 room bc the heat was not working and then in the new room, the toilet did not work well. It did not fill. Even after speaking to the front desk the toilet was"iffy". Our kids came to our room to use the toilet rather than clog their toilet. There are old fashion steam radiators which can be briefly noisy at times when they fill. Unfortunately, that often happened in the middle of the night. At about 3am both rooms' radiators filled. They were not controlled by a thermostat but by the hotel overall. In addition, there was a little spot wall heater and a seperate AC unit. Rooms (our 2 rooms were on opposite side of the hall) over looked alleys, common for city hotels. But for one room... a spot light shined directly into the room at the bed 24/7. So the shade had to be pulled. Front desk staff was very casual... no uniform or more fomal dress. We did not recognize the staff when we went to check out on Sunday am. She was dressed in sweats. They were friendly enough. The location was really good for us in Lincoln Park. Easily walkable to family that live in tha area. You do not have much choice g for hotels in that area.

the room was not great.....no closet, no desk, it was loud and the heater was super loud and musty. The hotel is cute from the outside and the lobby and staff were nice, but this room should not be a room.

Mold on the walls in bathroom. Plug sockets on lamp are worn out. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Lamp shade was ripped. Just sort funny how the crown molding just stops short of the adjoining wall. Overall the room and building are worn out

Greeted by an evening male receptionist with a very curious, disdainful manner, which set things off poorly. The lobby is charming and well decorated, conforming to era. Excellent coffee available in the morning. Hotel location is good, 10min walk to CTA trains (clean and orderly), and many restaurants and shops around. Of special note is the very helpful and pleasant day receptionist lady, made all the difference to our stay.

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing from the exterior to the common areas. The rooms were a bit dated but clean and well stocked. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a decent cup of coffee (available 24 hours) before I left at 5am.

Location is great and that was my priority. But if you are accustomed to amenities, etc you may be disappointed. For example, some basic items that need some attention: - in shower never gets really warm and the pressure very weak. - My room window looked onto a brick wall about 4 feet away —- for the price I was a bit shocked that I wasn’t at least warned. - And there wasn’t even a complimentary water upon checkin. - there was one particular front desk employee that had a huge RBF. The others were excellent and made you feel welcomed but the one with the RBF brought the energy down.

I was in town for the night from Detroit for a concert, And this place was so adorable and in the most beautiful neighborhood! The bed was super comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and It is so close to so many things! I would definitely stay here again! Who is this?
