Upon arrival, the check-in process went fairly smooth-no red flags. However, once in the room I noticed, right away, a cold draft and louder than usual traffic hum from the windows. The framing on the glass itself was misshapened and not allowing either window to latch closed properly. So, after struggling with it for 15 min I managed to get them to closed enough to not be an issue. After getting settled in, several other annoyances were discovered. First, the refrigerator wouldn't cool past lukewarm, the ac/heater gave no indication of working properly unless you waited 30 minutes to feel a change and know that it was, but just barely. Third, there was no blow dryer(no biggie). I wasn't too pleased at this point, but enhh...it is what it is. That is until 4 hours into my stay I tried to take a shower. There was zero hot water. None. When I called down to the front desk, the gentleman did apologize and that's about it. He explained that they had been working on it for awhile but didn't know how long it would be. At this point in my stay, I don't get why I wasn't informed of this. Another hour later and still no hot water, I involved hotels.com, taking up another hour of my stay. Ultimately, I was offered half off my stay or a full refund if I wanted to check out. Now...I understand things happen, it's not that...It's the way that it was (not)handled and with reasonable expectations, I left still feeling like my satisfaction as a customer wasn't a priority.
