Ninety-nine years young
Can't believe the lodge is 99 years old; it's been lovingly maintained. We stayed in one of the Lakeside rooms, delightfully quiet. The rooms had been nicely redone since we last stayed there 20 years ago. Some of the couch cushions in the main lodge's lobby were cracking; hopefully they'll be reupholstered soon.

Pleasant Stay, Poor Internet
My stay at Lake Quinault Lodge was mostly positive. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the internet service was disappointing, especially the 30-minute limit. I would appreciate it if you could improve the internet connectivity for future guests. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider returning.

My son says this was a highlight of our trip!
Amazing restaurant. The food was so delicious! As good as anything I’ve had at a metropolitan restaurant. The service at the restaurant and lodge was outstanding. Highly recommend for a rustic but pampered retreat in the most beautiful setting. The maintenance staff even helped out air in my tirea before my road trip departure.

Great Stay. Helped by Alexi at check-in. He helped us sort out an issue and it really got our stay off to a great start. We really appreciated his professionalism and friendliness. We hadn’t been to the lodge in 10 years and it appears to be being kept up. We will return next year for a longer stay because of this past experience

2/10 Poor

I hate leaving this review but If you are interested in a quiet nights rest DO NOT stay here anytime that isn’t summer. We stayed at the Quinault Lodge for 6 nights— you can imagine how much we spent— only to be woken up every single night by their horrible horrible heating system. It clattered and rattled like someone physically knocking pipes into our walls and this, every few hours. When I asked the front desk about this, I was informed that they get complaints literally ALL the time and have now for years and have done nothing to fix it. We just got home from our trip and it feels like we need a vacation from our vacation. There was other inconveniences too… Our bath tub/ shower combo gave us issues, and we had multiple spiders in our room. I understand that in certain climates it’s difficult to keep bugs and rodents under control but it is clear that this properties simply hasn’t made the updates necessary to fix the situation. Expedia was no help and the property refused to give us any kind of reparation for the nights we laid awake just waiting for the next morning, and finally, peaceful silence, to arrive. I hope this review helps someone considering a trip up north in the fall, winter, early spring months.

2/10 Poor

Lake Quinault is a beautiful place with the worst service of all time. I have never been to a place where the staff is so rude. The front desk lady was brusque and unaccomadating. We asked her for a pillow and walked into a closet and said they didn’t have a single available pillow. The staff in the restaurant is not friendly, the food was expensive and mediocre at best. Except breakfast, that was good. The rooms are noisy, dirty, uncomfortable. The only thing going for this place is that it’s beautiful. So if you stay here, be prepared for a motel 6 experience with amazing views.
