We are experienced users of all-inclusive resorts, staying at many different levels of luxury. We try not to over expect hotels amenities. The overall level of this hotel was slightly above average. Good>Rooms were nice and clean. Very accommodating for scuba divers who need to dry wet equipment. Bathrooms are dated and show wear that just a coat of white paint doesn't fix. But they serve the purposes they are for. Food served a la carte is really good. Buffets are meh, but variety is limited and not real exciting. There is a tunnel under the street so access to the beach area is safe and easy. Small but great little beach and bar. Very nice views at beach restaurant and bar. Drinks: They charge extra for half of their liquors on display. AI should be all AI, not just the bottom shelf. Staff: They seemed to be short staffed and the ones there do not seem to be too thrilled to be there. BAD> Pool lacks proper skimmer and surface is full of hair, skin oils, dirt, small leaves, rather nasty. Price> $235 per night could be spent at a higher end resort. Expedia did a "bait and switch." Hotel was advertised as an All Inclusive, but the price we booked was just breakfast only. It was not clarified on the Expedia website. We had to upgrade $110 per night for All inclusive. Not happy about that.
