Midland trip
The exhaust fan in our restroom did not work. The towels had a musty smell, the wash cloth had some kind of skid marks. We were constantly having problems with the key pass to get into our room. I know that one day I had to go downstairs 3 times to have it reprogrammed. Parking is a problem at this hotel especially with the club right across the street. I have a handicap problem in walking so this really made it difficult for me.

Noisy! The room itself was fine and the staff friendly and helpful. The lack of carpeting, however, meant that no sounds from other rooms were muffled. Worse, the front desk area with its snacks, booze, and seating, made it great for the gang of people who stayed up all night doing shots of tequila, drinking copious beers, playing music very loudly, screaming with glee as more shots were downed, their children ignored though the kids were much better behaved and quieter than the drunken adults, kids were running around everywhere, filling the exercise room, playing pool 24/7, running in and out of the building and up and down the elevators. Again I don’t blame the kids. They really didn’t misbehave. They were simply ignored and unmonitored by the adults, who clearly decided Tru was the perfect place to throw a loud, drunken party. I fell asleep quite late due to the extreme noise.
