We went because we stayed there before in this area and the first time was awesome. Its a roomy comfortable room.
This time was more "awww" sad face and "some" things were missing.
The showers should be given more attention. Slow draining and the glass doors along with many handles were not clean.
Understand unforeseen occurrences exist, if you need the pool, check before you go. It was down the days we stayed.
The queen bed we had was more princess than a queen. I know the difference in sizes. I really wish I had a tape measure to prove it.
No bedbugs! We had a gnat issue but I believe the whole buiding had to deal with that.
The staff was friendly no issues at all there.
It's also in a quiet area.
Im not a gambler but in some instances in playing the lottery I understand you can still win if you match a few of the numbers on your ticket.
The same can be said with our stay here.
Its a gamble, may not win everything but you'll get something out of it.
1. About every 2 days of our 7 days stay we had to go get new keys from the front desk because ours would stop working. We were up on the 3rd floor.
2. One of the elevators was broken for two days, making the other working elevator very slow to use as the entire hotel was then needing to use it.
3. The breakfast attendant most days was lazy - forks/plates/food would run out and I have no idea what she was actually doing. They also choose to not have the waffle station out on weekends.
4. The key never worked to get into the pool- we always had to go to the front desk and they had to call engineering. The pool was also unsafe - they had two dehumidifiers in there powered by long extension cords that were just laying on the ground and definitely getting wet when people would walk around the pool.
5. The fire alarms went off at midnight two nights in a row - once for over 20 minutes. When I asked to speak to the manager the next day about a partial credit to our account, the clerk at the front desk said there was nothing they would do about it and that it wasnât their fault. I was able to get one night credited back on our stay by using the chat feature in the ap.
6. Our daughter got sick one night - I called the front desk to see how if we could get some cleaning supplies I was told she would not leave the front desk and she didnât have access to any cleaning supplies.
Overall dirty. We will never stay here again - Will pay extra for the Townhome Suites next door.
I booked a room for 5 people. There were not enough blankets and pillows for 5 people. I sent my 17 year old children to the front desk to ask for more and they were told no, that they didnât have anymore blankets or pillows. I called the front desk and was told the same thing. It wasnât until 1am that we got more pillows and blankets that were retrieved from an empty room.
The tub was peeling so it had a red stain underneath that was unappealing to my wife and kids who did not want to take a bath in the tub. The shower nozzle was stuck in the down position and had to be yanked hard to rob the shower on. The kitchen area had a fishy smell that we could not find the source of. The bed as sunken in and not comfortable for sleeping for a pregnant woman. Finally the bedroom area was dusty
I stayed here a decade ago and it seems there have been no furnishing updates since then. All furniture in the room was very worn and sagging - so not at all comfortable. Bathroom was as clean as they could get it but itâs old so dirt buildup in corners and grout lines; tub stained from years of use. That said - the people - every single person - was kind, knowledgeable, considerate and professional.
