Nice and relaxing stay
First off the food was really good, the idea of theme nights was excellent and it was amazing to see a wide selection of foods including vegetarian. My only grumble (and it is minor) is that none of their chocolate deserts tasted like chocolate (excluding the ice cream). We stayed in the Adults-only area unfortunately children were regularly there, not that they were noisy but its a consideration to think about should they continue to allow it and does become noisy. Also it was really weird that women were allowed to wear sleeveless tops but men weren't! We stayed in a room over the water which had a lovely view but the room itself was a bit tired and needed a refresh. Staff were pleasant and our stay was enjoyable, not perfect thus the 4 stars.

We had to wait for about an hour at the airport after the agreed check-in time before we were able to board the speedboat going to the resort which also takes almost an hour. If you have an Expedia VIP benefits, you would need to raise that to the resort as they wouldnt tell you what you are entitled to. Also, the benefits are misleading specifically around the credit for activities you can do in the resort. The resort is beautiful and the meals are very good - changes every meal and every day.

Meeru resort island was absolutely fantastic and could not recommend it enough to anyone else that would like to go to the Maldives. It has a lovely combination of pure relaxation and activities for any of those people that struggle with sitting still, sunbathing for too long. We stayed in the overwater villa with the all inclusive package and this was the best choice ever. The food was absolutely top notch, including the buffet. And having some Al la carte option included in the all inclusive package was an added bonus. We will be back in no time

This place is a gem!!! From the minute we arrived at the airport to the second we got back we were taken such good care of. The workers on the Meeru island are one of a kind; so kind, such hard workers, and always going the extra mile to make sure you’re okay. The jacuzzi water villas are worth it and so is the all-inclusive. I don’t think there’s many places that compete with this one, book the trip you won’t regret.

Very very friendly staff at this resort. Just be careful not to go crazy with spending and make sure you watch prices, especially if you bought the "All Inclusive Package". Most stuff is free but a decent amount isn't, just make sure you read the menu before purchasing. The property is amazing and so is the staff, probably one of the best parts of the trip. We absolutely loved the island, one of the best we have visited so far. The only thing we did not like is the fact that our room request we made before arrival was not acknowledged at all. We were allocated one of the rooms that was not yet renovated, even though we arrived when the occupancy was very low and we could have been put in a newly renovated room. This was rather disappointing. Apart from it, we had a great holiday and loved the resort!

Just WOW!! Our whole stay was perfect, such friendly staff the island is lovely and green, we stayed in a beach villa right on the beach it was adults only section and the restaurant we had our meals was adults only as well. Meals were all excellent, plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. We were all inclusive as the drinks can add up $12.50 for mocktail and around $15/$16 for a cocktail. Mini bar in room for All Inc refilled everyday. On the all Inc we got the chance to play golf, 1 sun set cruise which was amazing we saw dolphins and amazing sun set. Canoes are also free to use. The speed boat to island took about 50 min which have you the chance to pass other islands so a nice boat ride. The sea is just like the brochures turquoise blue, we took our own snorkel set and beach shoes the snorkel is very expensive to hire per day and beach shoes recommended as lots of coral, but on the beach you can go bare footed, in facr they encourage it even in restaurant low key relaxed sand on the floor so you can walk around with no shoes if you want, it was a perfect place to relax and un wind. Those with families have their own section and restaurant and pool, the adults only pool had an infinity pool didn’t use much as the sea was so tempting. We saw a manta Ray, turtle and reef shark and lots of different types of fish. We would highly recommend visiting Meeru you won’t be disappointed. Booking through Expedia was easy and communication was excellent.
