Really good hotel, clean, comfotable, near everything. Good breakfast with fruits, cakes, breads and grains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is old, but thats the beauty of the city. Downtown Rio has a lot of homeless people, but if u be carefull (not show ur phone and valuable items) you'll be fine. The hotel is in a convenient location, near the busses, metro stations and vlt, and there are a bunch of good restaurants around it too. Will definitely be returning.

No provision for early arrivals. After traveling 13 hours by plane was asked to wait 6 hours for a room. they wanted $10 per bag to hold them until check-in. The only restroom available was up steep stairs(I am unable to walk up to it.) I paid $70 to get into the room early. The lobby was full of others waiting for check-in. There were no healthy options for the daily breakfast. They made a mistake about my end date causing me to pack and when they discovered I had another day, they offered another room (which I declined.)

I stay sep 6 to 10, 2024 elevators don't work, dirty, bedsheets with hair, refrigerator and tv don't work. Just part of the decoration. Staff member with bad actitud and only speak portuguese. I was ask 11 times if i was checking out. Front desk staff would not let me into my room becase they didn't understand the room number. DON'T STAY HERE ALSO HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WITH IRINE AND FECAL REMEINS 10 FEET FROM THE BUILDING.

Hotel bem localizado. Apesar de ser um imóvel mais antigo, foi uma estadia super tranquila. Funcionários educadores e receptivos. Única coisa que incomodou foi o ar condicionado que não tem como regular, só liga e desliga.

Hotel bem localizado no Centro do RJ. Café da manhã básico incluso. O grande problema é a demora dos elevadores e na maioria das vezes, quando vem, já estão com a lotação máxima e você tem que continuar aguardando ou usar a escada de serviço/emergência.

Um dia especial!!
Foi uma experiência incrível!! Ao chegar na recepção fui muito bem recebida e orientada sobre os pontos turísticos da cidade, um ambiente familiar e agradável. Não deixou a desejar também em relação a limpeza e o café da manhã. O quarto estava super gelado e cheiroso, em pleno verão do Rio, usamos coberta na madrugada. Amei!!! Voltarei com certeza!!

Infelizmente, o ar condicionado estava com problemas, fui, prontamente, atendido, porém, o problema persistiu. Havia uma falta de torneira na pia do banheiro, o que comprometeu o fluxo da única torneira em funcionamento. Um dos elevadores, permaneci fora de uso no final de semana: 01 e 02/02/25, durante minha estadia.
