Our family of four stayed here for only 3 days but we loved it. It's very cozy and directly across from the beach. It's also close to some nice casual restaurants and ice cream shops. Nearby, we were able to get bait at the Merry Pier and fish off the dock. Overall, it was a great experience.
Location on St. Pete Beach was wonderful. A short walk and you're at a part of the beach where you can do a daily rental of beach umbrellas and lounge chairs - and there is a public waterfront/beachside grille which is quite good! Some of the units have been renovated - be sure to get one of those... the others (which we had) are not very good.
Wonderful location facing the beach on the Gulf coast. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the room and bbq grills on the pool deck along with sauna and hot tub. The condition of kitchens is a little time-worn but they are in the process of replacing them. All else is beautifully maintained. Pass-a-Grille is just 15 minutes or so away from the busy holiday strip of St Pete Beach Gulf Boulevard but feels 100 miles away. Feels like old Florida. Marvellous.
Multiple apts made for perfect lodging for 3 generations. The poolside grills were wonderful for preparing dinner. The gulf, pool, & hot tub offered so many great options with something for everyone. We had a terrific trip!
Our stay at Camelot by the Sea exceeded our expectations in every way. We arrived in the middle of the night and they made check in incredibly easy. The amenities available were great and the area, perfect. Walked accross the street to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants. Area is very safe quiet and residential. Pool and hot tub were nice, and helpful to have washers and dryers available as well. We will most definitely return to this rental.
We rented the 1 bedroom apartment and were very comfortable there. It was quiet, right across the street from the beach, where thereâs plenty of room to walk and play. Great sunset area. Itâs a little crowded with street parking in the day, but nights and mornings it clears out. This year was best shelling Iâve ever had!!!Several good restaurants are walking distance. And the busier part of St Pete Beach is an easy short drive. Loved the reserved parking spot and also the pool and picnic area. Also had free chairs, umbrellas and beach towels available for the beach. The apartment was updated and comfy. With a full kitchen. We have stayed several places on SPB over several years but this is my new favorite place. Will definitely stay here again!!! AND itâs a full 1 bedroom apt for a very reasonable beach/holiday rate. They do not offer daily towel service and no shampoo etc but to me that was no big deal. Also had very fast, free WiFi. There is no resort fee but they do charge a 1 time cleaning fee, but still better than others resort fees.
Our view was fantastic from the 2nd floor in front of the building, but that was it. The hotel is old and dated - including kitchen towels, dishes, cupboards (falling apart), bedding, curtains, furniture - everything was run down. The non-slip mat in the tub was dirty. The worst part - our carpeting stunk! We complained about it but were told that they clean it ONCE a year and they had no idea what the smell was - never came up to check it out or offer to clean it.
We loved Pass a Grille but plan on staying somewhere else next year!
Fantastic Location right across the street from the beach.
Unit was clean and very comfortable.
Lots of towels and all the comforts of home.
Nice Pool and Laundry
