It was a short stay for the 4th. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The deposit was reasonable and the price affordable even for a (neat) homeless person with nowhere to go on the 4th.

Needs a good cleaning
Overall, the stay was okay. They met our needs, however, the place was not well maintained. They never cleaned our room while we were there. The lid to the toilet belonged to another toilet bowl. The shower was dirty and had scum from lack of cleaning. it was close to the airport and shops. the location was great. But the place can benefit from a good cleaning and an update.

There were bugs in the room. The shower curtain was moldy. The bathroom stunk. There are a limited number of electrical outlets. THERE WAS NO PLACE TO PLUG IN A CPAP MACHINE. I am not a picky person, so take my suggestion, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are plenty of hotels in the area. This is the worst place, in the US, that I have stayed in.

Sticky carpets, peeling paint, mold stained caulk and a combination shower/bathtub without a stopper is just a shower you need to step over a wall to get into. Do any hotels clean and make up your room anymore? This one didn't.

There are no words that can describe how awful this place is. The only nice thing I can say is the attendant at the front desk was nice. Other than that, stay clear unless you’re looking for deplorable situations happening at the hotel and a sketchy place to sleep.

Review of Scottish Inn and Suites, Allentown, PA
The hotel is run-down and dirty. Felt very unsafe walking through hallways. Nothing special whatsoever about the room. Felt a bit slimey. Came home late at night after the first day to find that there had been no room service. We understand that some hotels are doing this, but it would have been nice to have some sort of heads up. Nothing special about the customer service at all.
