Great view
The stay and view was amazing! The only downsides were the bathroom sink leaked a bit whenever I washed my head, one of the lights in the room flickered a bit, and for some reason the bathroom door jammed and I was locked in there for about 3-5 mins. My being looked in the bathroom was hilarious so I didnt think to complain and the view made up for the other issues. The view is breathtaking and this was the first time those other issues happened. I always choose to stay at that hotel any chance I get.

I liked the staircase in the lobby. The lobby computer didn't work because of no WiFi connection. The staff really had no idea how to get it to work. Also had it worked it's using Windows 7 so it would have been slow. I would stay again when back in Oakland. Just make sure you have a car for getting around.

Favorite Hotel in Oakland
I stay in hotels 10 to 20 times per year and this is one of my favorite places to stay. The water view rooms with a balcony are great. Rooms clean and the bathrooms are great as well. Tub can fit 2 people and the shower is spacious.

It’s a nice place to stay and quiet. It’s a prettt view of the water and fresh air is nice with a balcony. The complimentary breakfast was good and had many options. Does have a smoke smell if cigarettes but with balcony didn’t bother me as much.
