It was a quiet area in Calama, hotel staff was nice and spoke a little bit of english. Also very accomadting to help. Breakfast was really good and coffee machines to prepare any kind of coffee you want. Overall a very good hotel stay.

We stayed for a night prior to our fligth out, checkin was fast and room is very large, we had a car so location was not an issue, but if you dont ha e you will need taxis... there is a restaurant with buffet at nigth with a drink included, a bit expensive for what you get, but the food was ok Was noisy as mine workers also live there and they were drinking on the balcony Overall good

Overall, it is a very nice hotel. Like apartment, you have kitchen, bathroom, living room and so on. Not so many choices but good breakfast. It’s not safe in Calama, so it’s a good idea to choose a hotel like this with gate and security.

Totally recommend this hotel in Calama
I enjoyed my short stay at Geotel Calama. The hotel is centrally located, and the gated parking is a big plus. Also I can't thank Nasha and the hotel manager enough for all the tips they shared. The staff of the hotel is outstanding, very welcoming. Clean and well equipped rooms. Very reasonably priced menu at the restaurant. A simple breakfast was included in my room rate.

Secure and modern facility
We had a great overnight stay at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was filling and had variety. The staff was courteous and spoke English (or used translate on their phones) to ensure we had good communication, which was kind to my limited Spanish skills. My only complaint was for things outside the hotel's control: because we had to open the windows to cool the unit, the noise from dogs barking, early morning trucks, and loud conversations outside were disturbing to a good night's sleep.

We had a very comfortable stay. Though only there for one night, it would not have been a problem to stay longer. All staff members were friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful. The room was large with clean sheets and towels. The restaurant had a set menu with a few choices of well prepared food. Breakfast had plenty of variety served in a pleasant atmosphere. If the hotel could improve anything, it would be to ensure there are enough towels for the booked guests (they brought more quickly when asked). In a hotel of this quality a shower enclosure would be preferable to a curtain; but neither is a reason not to stay. Overall recommended.

There’s no sign for the Geotel property, so you have to trust your navigation software and turn into the driveway. The room lights require you to insert the keycard into a device above the light switches near the door that you may not notice in the dark. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up one or two flights of stairs. Once in the room with the lights on, everything is fine. The bed is very comfortable. The room has a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a telephone, and a flat-screen television.
