Sooo many problems!! Ill-equpped for travelers
They are really ill-equipped to host travelers at this time. There was no one to greet me upon my arrival. I had to wait on a curb getting bitten by mosquitos for someone to arrive. Bathroom smelled like sewage. I awoke and alerted manager who let me in via text that the key to the front door wasn't working properly. Got no response. Tried to dress. No water. Contacted same manager. He responded. Eventually water back on. I tried to leave and couldn't because key was stuck in door. Waited over half and hour and no one showed up. I left. Hours later when I returned in the afternoon the manager was there with someone attempting to fix the door. I was skeptical. I was brought down a new key. It still didn't work and I had to leave it stuck in the door. But this time I never got another response and the key stayed stuck in the door even until when I left very early in the morning. I texted, called repeatedly, and was then just disregarded, which was really unacceptable. No one ever came to clean the room. Could've been okay on a long-term basis as an apartment given the space and location but considering all the problems, especially on a short term basis, for $30/night more just go to a better hotel.
