« Room was a good size, upgraded from what we booked which was a nice surprise, we arrived early and checked if the room was ready which it was so again this was a bonus! No staff on site that we saw but didn’t really need anyone, free to come and go as we pleased and the property felt secure and safe we even left the patio doors open to allow fresh air in, perfect location. Quiet spot in walking distance of Ambleside pubs would definitely return. »

« Nice modern accommodation and good size rooms that have recently been renovated.
It is like self service and not a hotel which is fine if that is what you are after.
No water in room for example and no one on reception while I was on site or breakfast.
This was not a problem for me but maybe for others.
When I called the mobile number for service they were very good and even brought me a bottle of water.
