I know the hotel for quite a long time as I stayed there several times over the years. It has been renovated recently and so I wanted to try it now, booking 3 junior for my family and myself.
The new design is pretty nice and clean. The rooms are still comfortable. The staff is not going the extra mile to satisfy you (which is a pity for a 5 stars hotel).
The breakfast is qualitative and the breakfast room, despite a nice design, lacks some natural light. And as for the reception, the staff is doing its job, not looking to please the clients.
The suites themselves were somehow disappointing. Indeed, I stayed previously in rooms that had a better view or better location for cheaper. The bare size of the room does not justify the price. And some things were annoying: one of the rooms was under the lounge and it was pretty noisy, one of the rooms had no TV on the TV furniture (which creates a weird feeling of undone decoration), there is tea in the rooms but no mug or larger cups and no kettle, the suites were globally dark.
All in all, it's better to have a standard room with a nice view and exposure for a lower price.
