Paid an arm and a leg to stay a night during Oktoberfest. Arrived at 5:25pm and the room wasnt ready. Had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes. Front desk staff were struggling with almost every step of the check in process. Got up to room and heat was blasting, 24 degrees. Couldn't get the thermostat to do anything but heat, so turned it as low as it could go hoping the temp would level itself out while we were out. Arrived back around midnight, and the room was even hotter - the bathroom has heated floors that dont seem to have an off switch, and kept the whole room warm.
There was a sign on the shower door advising to only use one side as it sticks - written on the back of a scrap of paper and scotch taped on. Looked like it had been there a while. The sign was worse than the issue it was calling attention to, and made me question the operator's standards overall. There were a few other tiny details about the hotel that just seemed half-a$sed.
Minor gripes aside, it was a clean and comfortable stay (temperature aside), but didnt live up to the brand or the price tag.
