The ambiance of the Palacio is old world and historic with original architecture/ceramics/windows decorated with lovely art and sculpture. My room was large and comfortable with an excellent bed and bedding, modern bathroom amenities including very nice toiletries, special touches such as slippers and robes, as well as a welcoming bottle of cava. The common areas of the Palacio feel like home and it's lovely to have tea by the fountain or in Monet's Kitchen or maybe read and enjoy a sherry in the library. The rooftop terrace has views of the sea, the cathedral, and neighborhood rooftops and it's fully furnished with comfortable deck loungers and haimas which can be rented. Within minutes of churches, restaurants, parks, fountains, the hop-on/hop-off bus, and many sites, the Palacio is well located for eager tourists or relaxing strolls for those seeking an oasis in Palma. The entire staff is lovely and go out of their way to make everything special and easy. An honor system for a wide variety of snacks and beverages makes sure you don't have to venture out for a munchie. I loved the availability of a bicycle for enjoying the waterfront and the subterranean roman pool was warm and inviting. My entire experience at the Palacio was friendly, pampering, and relaxing and I would return again in a heartbeat.
