The most uncomfortable room I have ever stayed in. No couch, no micro wave it was very spartan….no pictures on the walls - it was a cold space. Just horrible….I couldn’t sleep - from traffic noise all night long…. Don’t stay here - no restaurant -

Nice hotel but noisy
Aloft is an attractive hotel in a great location for those departing on cruises or going to the airport. The design is modern and "industrial-chic". The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Where this hotel is lacking is that the room design makes it very hard to get a good night's sleep. The noise from the street was significant with car engines racing and sirens blaring at all hours. Also, the way the bathroom is situated, it is impossible to use without lighting up much of the room. I'm not a big fan of barn door style bathroom doors either.

Great location for the cruise port.
We chose this hotel due to its location near to the cruise port. In this respect, it couldn’t have been better. The port entrance is a few hundred metres from the hotel. We used the port shuttle to get to the ship. $12 per person. The hotel is typical of the Aloft brand with its industrial style decor in the public area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a limited menu for breakfast and dinner, but staff at reception will suggest other places to eat nearby. There’s nothing much near the hotel, but this didn’t matter for us.

Good location. It’s close to the port and the airport. Nice and clean and modern. Staff are friendly. My arrived around 11:AM and they let me checked in and got in to my room early. Which is very nice. Highly recommended!

Short over night stay
We had a over night stay because we were flying out of Fr Lauderdale. I had called the hotel to let them know we were arriving late and when we arrived it was a speedy check in room was ready for us. The hotel shuttle service was a great service that they offer. The gentleman that took us to the airport was very nice and helpful. When we arrived back from our trip the shuttle service was also very fast to arrive and the gentleman was also very nice. Overall the hotel gets a 10 for me for location, customer service, cleanliness and how pleasant everyone was.

Updated decor, excellent view of city. Conveniently located 1-2 miles from Port Everglades, & Fort Lauderdale Airport. Free shuttle to airport. Our front desk attendant Rachel was AMAZING!!! She was courteous, prompt, & efficient! Rachel helped us with luggage, and gave a list of restaurants offering delivery.
